The rumoured interest in Fothen is most probably false, we would have been thrilled to take him on board last transfers, but now we already have one slowly ageing stage race leader in VDB.
Ulissi, on the other hand, fits into our national focus as well, but would actually be a strong, experienced addition to lead Kelderman and Vogt next season so that there's actually a reward for a classics focus.
That said, a bidding war might be tough to compete in with a PCT budget, but the secured future of Bouhanni and Rolland in the Festina team shows we already had good transfer relations before, so here's hoping!
(Of course there will be a possibility to include a French talent like Daniel or one we acquire next transfers in a deal. Demare is most probably off-limits though )

If I promote then Dees would definitely be of some interest to me. Not only that but I’ve been thinking about the possibility of loaning in someone like Lecuisinier as a lieutenant in PT races if he is available.
I could possibly go after Keukeleire but I already have a couple of young sprint talents so I’m not sure I’d really need him.
Also Steurs and Sinner – no way in hell.

RBC Pro Cycling have given a muddling reports linking them with Benoit Sinner with the Team Principal saying " Benoit has good results in the past but is contracted to our friends at Festina and commenting on him now would be worthless."
Other reports coming out of RBC are that David Boily (stage winner in Utah this week) is expressing an interest in going on loan to Festina, Boily is said to have heard good things from team mate and friend Pierre-Henri Lescuiner and with the Principals suggesting he take a year in the top division Festina seems high on his list. Would festina be interested in Boily. |

The team is always interested in making profitable loan deals for young riders. Especially when those are contractly bound to a team in which the team have a nice friendship. David Boily shoud be most welcome to the team on a one-year loan deal, while it could be interesting for Festina to ask for a mutual loandeal regarding one of the french talents of Team Festina.

Festina - Canal+ presents new jersey
With a great performance from aidanvn13 we can proudly present the jersey for the 2014 season:
It was very important for us to show the true Festina colors, but also to show that we are keen to keep a french and greek focus in years to come.

Really nice jersey. Good to see that we have 3-4 really great shirt maker / equipment maker within the managers. Helps a lot.
Love how the flags are implemented into the jersey. |

Yeah I really love it aswell. I asked if it was somehow managable to implement those, but when I asked I didn't feel really comfortable that it would work - I was certainly proven wrong, it looks awesome

Having promoted now, interests might have changed.
So I can see at least 4-5 Germans/Benelux riders, who might be welcomed in 2014. |

Adrien Petit is looking for a loan move to the PT to max out, would Festina be interested in having him on board? His stats include 74FL, 74STA, 71RES, 71COB, 77SP and 76ACC making him a perfect leadout and a useful addition to a Cobbles team. |

Absolutely. Festina are very keen to keep the good relationship we have with your team, a loan deal is very interesting, as also we probably would have a rider or two set to move the other Way.

Signalling interest/availability is one thing, but this post is far too close to being an actual offer. That is a post to make in the transfer season, not before it.

After yet another great performance by aidan, we can show our new greek champions

Charalampas Kastrantas took the Road race, while Panagiotis Vlatos took the Time-trial. Both are very young and could possibly help out a PCT or CT team in the coming season on a one-year loan basis.

Breaking news across Spain today, Team CSC-Orbea have leaked rumors that they are considering make a move for superstar climber Alberto Contador.
Does the manager of Team Festina have any comments on this matter?
