There's only Tour of Britain left in calendar for me for this season. Just finished Volta a Portugal and Post Danmark Rundt, both without a spectacular results. However Volta started promising with Bodnar finishing 5th after opening time trial. Huzarski won 7th stage and Rutkiewicz came 2nd on both 9th and 10th stage, but that gave him only 12th place in general (Aliu was 14th). Bodnar did even better on second time trial Sabugal - Guarda where he came 4th with Huzarski just behind his back (6th), but overall they didn't do very well. The only jersey that went for CCC was KoM won by Aliu.
Aliu fighting for the mountain jersey.
Volta a Portugal
General: 12th Rutkiewicz, 14th Aliu
Points: 3rd Rutkiewicz
Mountain: 1st Aliu, 2nd Taciak
Young: 2nd Aliu
Team: 3rd
Post Danmark was even more disappointing with poor performance from Nunez, who couldn't go higher than 5 on flat stages, and what finally placed him 13th in poinst ranking. Kwiatkowski came 3rd on stage 3, but that only gave him 16th place in general.
Post Danmark Rundt
General: 16th Kwiatkowski
Points: 13th Nunez
Mountain: 2nd Contofalsky
Young: 3rd Kwiatkowski
Team: 10th
In the meantime youngster Arkadiusz Olszewski joined my team and looking at his potential, he probably won't be next Kwiatkowski but easily top 10 in NC ITT.

Not the greatest talent, but he should be able to do some decent things. Maybe if you train his hills a little? |

He's a decent protector for your main rider or use him as an attacker. |

I would like to see that and wouldn't mind to follow it Pavuk.
The last race of the season is over. Tour de Britain wasn't very lucky for me, but wasn't too bad eighter. Nunez came 3rd on 2nd stage and that was his best result. In overall points ranking he came 7th.
Nunez finishing behind Tom Veelers' and Maurizio Biondo's back on stage 2.
Contofalsky grabbed KoM jersey and was in successful breakaway on stage 6, but finished only 4th.
Contofalsky leading breakaway through mountain premium.
Tour of Britain
General: 9th Rutkiewicz
Points: 7th Nunez, 8th Contofalsky
Mountain: 1st Contofalsky, 3rd Nunez
Young: 4th Kwiatkowski, 5th Nunez, 6th Aliu
Team: 1st

3RD SEASON SUMMARY
Despite having better team than last year and 2 years ago that was my worst season so far (at least when it comes to the results) and that's mainly due to rejection on most races. The other factor will be poor performance of my sprinters (Nunez in particular), who won only 1 race. Funny thing is that I was able to get 585 points with Khalilov (FL 72, ACC 74, SP 75) in my first season, and only 105 with Nunez (FL 71, ACC 78, SP 77) this year. Well, but the main thing is my sponsors are happy, that will be my top priority for next season as my contract finally expires. Hopefully I will get much bigger budget and it will start a revolution in my team.

My first race this season is behind me, but first, and as usual groups for this season.
Group 1
Leader: Rutkiewicz
Sprinters: Lodewyck, Matysiak
Lead out: Castoviejo, Kwiatkowski
TT: Castoviejo, Kwiatkowski
Team mates: Huzarski, Manhoso, Olszewski
Group 2
Leader: Aliu
Sprinters: Nunez
Lead out: Navardauskas
TT: Navardauskas
Team mates: Bodnar, Confotafalsky, Kiendys, Nomvete
By the way Daniel Aliu developed quite well last season, and that's what made him leader of the 2nd group.
Tour de San Luis was my first race this season. It started very promising with win from CCC's newest signing - Klass Lodewyck and his lead out - Bartlomiej Matysiak coming 4th.
Klass Lodewyck led out by Bartlomiej Matysiak for the first win of the season.
On time trial stage Polsat did pretty well to. Again thanks to new signing - Jonathan Castroviejo, who came only 5 sec behind Moreno Moser securing 2nd place. Michal Kwiatkowski, despite very bad form, had pretty good ride and finished that day on 4th place.
Jonathan Castroviejo wearing KoM jersey during his first time trial for CCC Polsat Polkowice.
It was actually interesting story with Castroviejo as after time trial he was ranked 4th in general with only 7-second loss to 2nd place. I decided to go for an imtermediate sprints on the last stage to work off this loss.
Castroviejo fighting for priceless seconds in San Luis.
But he only managed to win one before he was caught by the peloton, and only moved to 3rd position, with just 1 second away from 2nd place, but he managed to win a mountain sprint, which placed him 1st with 2 points lead.
That was also first career race for Arkadiusz Olszewski, who tried to present himself from the good side.
Alone against rest - youngster Arkadiusz Olszewski fighting for the recogniction and first points.
... but he didn't. He came 89th (out of 96) in general classification, 21st in mountain ranking, 39th in points and was 9th (out of 11) young rider of the tour.
Tour de San Luis
General: 3rd Castroviejo
Points: 5th Lodewyck
Mountain: 1st Castroviejo
Young: 4th Kwiatkowski
Team: 6th

First of all I want to say that I read your story today and I like it a lot. I am really curious to see the next season and more important the new sponsor.
But I am new to this game and I have a question and maybe you or somebody else could answer. Is possible to see the full start list of a race before you actually play it? |
