Very nice effort by Murguialday. Alonso did not sufficient stamina to make a big impression.

Indurain didn't loose time. That is good. I won't win the team standings after this race, but didn't care about that anyways. Most of the riders still have teh same time, hence I'm not posting the full GC yet. Paris - Nice really starts the next stage for Banesto. Also Prudencio is clearly not as talented as his brother...

Pffffff. This was close. Philipot beat his fellow escapies, but Delion made the jump to the leading group very late and he had still a full bar (I guess). Indurain finished in the pack and made it into the top 10...
