Yet another strange race just like so many this season...
Congrats to Oz. Ford really surprised this season with some good results.
First Bennati in Fourmies now Ford here. Next year CT teams win more races than PT teams in their races. |

What a shitty race that was... Not the reports, but the race itself. Extremely boring throughout, and with no one willing to do anything of the big names.
Can't be unhappy with 9-11 (oh dear), seeing how this progressed. Team, not available, with Boonen i charge will get MY 5th place in the PT though, and thus making me miss 4/5 goals. Shit season.

Yes - it was an extremely lame race. Hilly AI is just so hit and miss. |

Gogo William Ford! Didn't he win a PT stage race last season aswell?

Congrats to Oz but yes... very odd race. I guess it was less to do with the AI and more to do with the fact that Oz just don't have the firepower to be able to chase the breaks back.

Which should have meant the favourites attacking them in the latter part of stages. |

Yes, it was extremely lame. No “mass“ attacks of favourites in order to form a select group and when someone got away like Bakelandts, he hangs on to a weaker breakaway rider.
But by far the most awkward was Gilbert, who performed a whole lot of attacks in the middle part of a stage (can't recall which one) which went:
He attacks
He is about 30 in-game seconds in front
He stops attacking
He magically decelerates to ~35 km/h and get easily reeled in by a not chasing pack.
Repeat every 5-10k

Dammit. A win from Sieberg would have saved the race for me.

Just our tactics Tbh, indeed a weird race, would have expected the hilly stages to be (more) selective, but I guess we all know by now, that "PCM11 + Hilly stages = Naaaaa, this won't work".. well, I won't complain here

Ventoso coming 4th in a stage is ok, but it's a pity the breaks were not chased as those sprints really could have suited him.

Thank you, Heine, roturn and SotD! I guess, I will have to update my HQ soon Ford is definitely Oz's hero this year. He and Bobridge had some very good results, so I'm glad that he was the one, who took that surprising victory.

I find it funny how a team that has less points in the CT than the best Div2 has in less races and with higher points available won a PT race. Congrats though, first a classic for the CT teams and now a whole race. |

9/10 times Reimer would have won that 2nd last stage in a situation like that |

The AI really made this race boring. It's like nobody else than Oz wanted to win. Nice with a surprise winner though.

Odd race but I'll certainly take the 3rd place from Bookwalter. Congrats to Oz!

I have been nerding away, in order to check up on my possibilities to stay in top 5 (like always).
Just discovered a small "mistake" if you want. The Young rider classification isn't listed in the correct order, so you might want to check that, if you haven't already noticed. Some interesting point scores this time around imo. Very equal to many aswell.

Dont need to have worried - while its annoying for me, luckily I can read numbers, so the right results go into the rankings!
Speaking of which...
| 1 | 1 | | Vesuvio-Accumalux | 8857 | | 2 | 3 | | Pearl Adidas | 7604 | | 3 | 2 | | Santander | 7544 | | 4 | 4 | | Sony Ericsson | 7499 | | 5 | 5 | | Festina - Conec | 7046 | | 6 | 9 | | Nestlé Cycling Team | 6962 | | 7 | 6 | | Bacardi - Ignis | 6640 | | 8 | 8 | | Pendleton's Twicer | 6630 | | 9 | 7 | | Jack Wolfskin | 6608 | | 10 | 10 | | Milka - Vittel | 6354 | | 11 | 11 | | Wikipedia | 6239 | | 12 | 13 | | UBS - La Pierre | 6176 | | 13 | 12 | | Wiggle - San Pellegrino | 6028 | | 14 | 14 | | Team B&O | 6017 | | 15 | 15 | | Webeffect | 5420 | | 16 | 16 | | Café de Colombia | 5273 | | 17 | 17 | | Carmeuse - Bouygues Telecom | 4900 | | 18 | 18 | | Spyker Cars | 4870 | | 19 | 19 | | Warner Brothers | 3001 |
And the top individuals below. Boonen may have stormed through the early part of FBD, but even that wont be enough to catch Madrazo

Down to third, I'm still hoping I can hang onto the top 5.
