Cavendish over reacted there imo. He should expect riders cutting him off, it's the only way he can be beat.  And even that didn't work.

Surprised this is even being discussed. Very typical move in the build up to any sprint. And it makes tactical sense for Eisel to try to get Cav's wheel - doesnt matter who else is trying to get it.
