Didn't we have this discussion some time ago ? Say, it might look like an era to you, but, it was like... one page ago ?

Since your post is on a new page, it's two pages ago.

Drama of my life as a forum member here, whenever I try to come up with something smart without quoting a message it tends to appear as the first message of a new page.
Life's unfair.
Why do most people here think Andy is a total d*ckhead?
As I am a fan of him...
I like him as a rider as well, but to answer for the rest:
- Focusses completely at the TdF, and has never won it (not counting the 2010-one).
- Tends to blame everybody but himself.
- Can only ride well when he's near Fränk (and "won" the 2010-Tour when Fränk had to abandon).
- Sucks in timetrialling.
But there's a lot to tell about any rider. And people love to give their opinion about riders, especially when these are negative...
Mark Cavendish
- Focusses completely at the TdF, and has never won it (not counting the 2010-one). Check, and dint even win in 2010
- Tends to blame everybody but himself. Check
- Can only ride well when he's near Fränk (and "won" the 2010-Tour when Fränk had to abandon). Change Frank to his team and cut out the 2010 bit and, Check
- Sucks in timetrialling. Check
So u guess Cav is as least as hates as A Schleck?

All due respect to A. Schleck, but comparing to Cavendish, I don't know. Cavendish wins a lot of other races. He focusses on the tour, but didn't he just ride the entire Giro?
EDIT. Every rider needs his team. Cavendish needs his team, Andy needs his team. Wouldn't be a teamsport if it wasn't necessary.

Cav has ten stage wins at the Giro, three and points jersey at the Vuelta, along with tons of other wins. Tell me, how many does Andy have outside the Tour?

True but I just dont see why people hate A.Schleck. I know he fails but at least he makes a nice show in the alps
He does. Everyone can have their opinion here. I've been in a heavy discussion about Contador, here. I'm not a kind of guy to dislike a rider quickly. I don't hate Schleck, I don't hate Contador. I actually like seeing the two of them together, battling the mountains.
But the fact is most people here hate him.
I can understand their reasons, but for me it's not enough to hate someone.
So for this year's TDF, everyone can win it, if it's up to me, as long as they fight for it. If Andy would win, I'd be very happy, because that would mean he fought back all the minutes lost in TT.
I think, perhaps Andy is unlikable as a cyclist for his disappointing results, but as a person, he seems friendly.
Just watch this 'interview' of a Dutch tv show, in which a Dutch presenter acts and dresses like a Japanese and interviews stars, without them knowing she is actually another person.
You can't compare a sprinter with a stage racer / climber. A sprinter has to do only 1 thing, and that is winning the mass sprint after being set off perfectly by his team mates, That's all (okay, climbing over speedbumps).
And Cav has won many sprints in many races in the last cuouple of years. And yes, he has a attitude, but a sprinter has to got one.....
To me, the discussion about any rider that is loved or disliked can be stopped. Useless, waste of energy, as every single rider has fans and haters (with some having more fans and others having more haters...)/

I think both Cav and Schleck are dic*heads, happy?
You say cav focusses on the tdf and has never won it, but he got the green jersey last year, and what more can he do as a sprinter
