MitchNL - Thanks mate Zandio was awesome that day, hopefully he's going continue like that.
Batista15 - Thanks very much Zandio is indeed awesome at Sky, another one at Sky is Knees. Absolute monster for that. Hopefully Froome is going continue like that indeed
TomC - Thanks. Yeah, I am weary of Basso and I think he will win some time on mountains, but I am sure he'll loose some as well. not worried so much about Evans though with no home bonus. Will be interesting battle between them though
Ste117 - You highlighted our 3 biggest results so far, thanks mate I want that car too
Beleg32 - Thanks mate
hazzy - He's doing well so far, hope he keeps it up. Thanks
FreitasPCM - Only 14 days to defend, hell yeah
jph27 - Haha, it's still early tough. We'll see how he fares in the big mountains, where Basso will have the edge on us.
Absintlover - Thanks. So far, yes indeed, we'll see if we can convince him much longer
sam1196 - Haha, thanks man Well PCM luck had part to play as well, Froome had a generous + 4 on the day.
sutty68 - Thanks very much sutty
baia - Haha, it's bit embarrassing. I was at the finish line and wanted to take the picture, but Froome wasn't in great position. So I readied myself and re-paused it, the game went somehow fast and I took picture where Froome was gone I forget about replays too, so I just took Froome's only victory to date I am sure you will see him winning in Giro, hopefully
Thanks everyone for the comments, much appreciated once again
So today is the first very well deserved rest stage for the riders. Later in the night I will do a summary of the 7 days for Sky and present the next 7 stages. So stay tuned

Your screens aren't there anymore, photobucket thinks you are too popular.

Yeah, I noticed. They are going be back in about 3-7 hours hopefully, that happened to me with my Sky story. I deleted few screens from my folder ( not this story ) and it should work Made a new account as well from now on Might go pro and pay for account in summer, but not yet

No they are not removed Photobucket stops showing them as your whole album has too many views on the free account I deleted about 30 pictures from my previous stories from my album, so Photobucket will again show the pictures in couple of hours Absintlover You can stop that by getting pro account, but you have to pay In that case, just get a new account.

No reason to apologize i was just joking
I tend to over-use smileys because it makes a message much more lively
back to topic now you are really doing great i hope Froomey can keep pink

I read in the Daily Star paper yesterday they want to make a motorway for flying cars in the UK to cut the route between Liverpool and London to an hour. Have you been to the papers about this floating car

DS's View
I think 3 stages summarize our Giro so far. Mark came here without any lead-out train whatsoever and grabbed a win on stage 2. It was one of the closest and more epic sprints ever witnessed and we glad Mark took it at the end.
TTT proved to be the second jewel in our crown. The team rode absolutely stunning and produced best time, 50 seconds ahead of BMC, our closest rival. This again gave us Maglia Rosa.
Stage 7 proved to be possibly most memorable. Chris Froome decided to go on early and outpaced fan's favourite - Ivan Basso. It was a stunning win that gave Froome the Maglia Rosa. We hope he can keep it until Milan now.
Stage 8
Straight away after the rest day we expect tough day. The stage is difficult throughout and becomes toughest when we hit very steep 10km long climb. There might be some narrow roods too, so we have to be at the front and try not to lose any stupid time here.
Stage 9/10/11/12/13
We have six stages that are more than welcome for most of the peleton, all are much easier than the last 2 days we had to endure. We expect most of them do end in a bunch sprint, while stage 12 looks like the bets bet for a breakaway win.
Stage 14
Stage 14 is the first really tough stage of this year's Giro. Including two tough climbs, both climbs total to over 45km of climbing for the peleton on that today. Adding to that the long distance, of over 200km we may see many riders struggle on the slopes of both mountains.

Just one question (can't remember if you already said it or not), but will you just post the Giro D'Italia?
Anyway, good luck for week 2. Froome has everything to stay in the lead. And watchout for those tricky breakaways! |
