Since when there are time bonuses in the Tour? Or is it just in the ManGame?
Awesome report once again. Trofimov being on fire.
A shame that Velits lost that much time. |

Bad luck for Velits. Been a brilliant Tour so far and absolutely fucking amazing reports. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out!

Gotta say Impey looked badly baulked by Mehr-Wenige there, oh well such are perils of following anothers sprint train. Good to see Impey was in a good place, Trofimov looked good for the win whatever happened. Credit goes to the videos once more, I've tried doing a couple and they are tricky and time consuming to do but do add a lot.
Priamo was a strange rider to go away, I deserve that for a muddled thinking in selection perhaps. But I suppose if he were to get away on a more flat stage and the break succeeds then a stage win is possible.
Velits and Kashechkin losing time, I guess gives Gadret a better chance of sneaking into a top ten on GC.
Stars of the race so far? Trofimov and Duret, but Cancellara deserves some credit for attacking has he worn himself out for the TT?
TT on stage 3 will be a quiet one for JRB, hoping we save ourselves for a decent breakaway on stage 4.

20-12-8 time bonuses in every race

Hoping for a strong TT performance from Pluchkin. Looking to gain time on Madrazo and Cunego!

Wasn`t sure about this but quite surprised to see time gaps in the GC. Now it`s more obvious. |

Good active start from Summerhill and Phinney popping up there, in an ideal world Phinney would have passed him for the time bonus but good to see the team active.

A Minute on Cunego is good, but Phinney, Uran and Pluchkin now need to be passed.

Amazing reports so far, can't wait for more of them! The field is pure class, should be a great Tour on the toughest stages. |

That's quite pleasing for Cunego. Can take that back on one good mountain or hilly stage.....Just got to get that good day. |

Amador in 20th is a bit disappointing. A great ride by Taaramae though!

Great reports, and a great TT from Phinney. However, the question now is whether he can hold onto that through the tricky stage 4, and then on the Puy de Dome. |

Great win for Phinney, and nice to be in yellow. Hopefully this gives him a nice little boost through the first few tough stages. Sure glad to see plenty of tt kilometers to come, even with some sections geared towards the climbers.

Good ride by Keizer there, and now to hopelessly lose time in that hilly stage .

Rather mediocre performance by Dekker, I suppose. |

What a shitty TT. Extremely dissapointed by Bernaudeau, whom should have been able fight for a top 10 today. Also hoped for a bit more from Fothen.

Really? Top 10 seems somewhat optimistic for Bernaudeau. It may be in France, but it would have been a surprise for him to beat too many of the riders who finished ahead of him imo.

Well, that was an up and down day. I keep forgetting just how many of my riders here have been an actual leader for me in other races. Popovych, Kritskiy, Cataldo and Bibby have all had their chances, so when I heard two go down, I had my fears, but Popo pulled through for a solid performance.
Hopefully Bibby isn't injured, and Kritskiy gets in some breaks later on to get me some time back in the Team competition.

Boo Dan Martin. But well done Seb Duret. Lovely reporting, thanks SN.
