Ever noticed those funny little things on the side of the cockpit ? There are mirrors in those. 
Seriously, Vergne was good in Formula Renault 3.5, then was the test driver (simulator driver) for Red Bull Racing last season, and of course Toro Rosso is RB junior's team.

I still find Vergne a bit 'green' for F1, maybe keeping Alguersuari or Buemi for one more season, then promote the Frenchman would have been better. |
