AI Sprints dont work like that. Almost all of them follow a lead sprinter from another team. As you can see Bongiorno was following Grillo and Richeze.

I really hoped to do better here, not one of my sprinters has made the top 15 in a stage yet!

Yeah don't complain with 2nd.
I have two sprinters here. One with SP and ACC 73 and 71 and the other with 78 and 75, and all I have is a 6th place.

He could win the tour from the breakaways but he'll never get time bonuses in the final sprint
