Cunego, Voeckler, Arroyo and The Schlecks all lost a fair bit of time, maybe even enough to put them out of contention for the overall. Surprised with Larsson taking the win, good win for him

Interesting. Also note the length difference between their knee(s) and elbows.
Wiggins' is bigger, which results in a more horizontal position, as suggested by the different lines on the picture. |

Lets do the comparsion in July while climbing, Wiggins will look like a dumb there. Both are specialists to different terrains, so nothing surprising, but still interesting

Being a pure climber doesn't mean you can do shit in ITTs, not if your goal is to win the Tour at least. Although, to be fair to Andrew, he was just not racing yesterday. He's come to the P-N to put some kms in his legs and to chat up with local girls.

Position is very important when it comes to TT, depending from how far you're coming from (how badly positioned you are), you can achieve huge improvements, just thanks to a proper positioning. Wiggins has the double advantage of a natural ability for TT and of an excellent positioning. Andy has none.

Wiggins in virtual yellow now. 1:35 between his lead group and Larsson's.

And he beats Valverde to the intermediate sprint.

One of the weirdest sprints ever, no one seemed to want to go for it |

Well, the potentially dullest stage of the race just turned out to be pretty cool, can't complain at all.

This. Was much more fun than I expected.
I guess the overall is between Valverde, Wiggins and Leipheimer now.

Possible outside bet for Van Garderen too if his climbing is up to it (though it probably isn't?). Am glad to say Wiggins looked very strong driving the front group on. |

I also wouldn`t Monfort in especially. Also riders like Spilak, Chavanel or Jeannesson could surprise in the harder stages.
Still lots of action to expect imo. Will probably be excititing until the final mountain time trial. |

Glad when the Tirreno start. when the main protagonists of PN are Leipheimer, Wiggins, Van Garderen and Valverde, it's time for me to watch something else |
