Oh dear....just three finishers.
Good job Banos Ballester having a good time at the Giro.
Cunego needs to score big at the Tour/Vuelta a Colombia. We should have a decent Vuelta Espana too. Even so, that gap is growing alarmingly. |

I guess Matt Rowe was one of the two guys who didn't make the time cut, and wasn't mentioned, otherwise I reckon he'd have shown something on the last stage with it being so flat.
Yeah sorry about that rjc for some reason I didn't write down the two Wiggles Fenn and Matt Rowe who were eliminated with the other 19 riders on stage 7.
Kinda got lost in the excitement of what was an excellent stage. The mass pile up on the last stage was bit of a shame at one moment I was thinking that Phinney had lost everything as Kashechkin rolled over.

Blame Phinney. He has no business being up there, that greedy bastard!

Oh my, what an unlucky season for Festina, i feel sorry for them, hopefully they will recover from it. Great race to watch apart from that, Phinney is sensational.

How I'm able to withstand such a distance to the dropzone with 15 races of bad luck in a straight line is out of my imagination. Ofcourse the Giro will make me drop below top 15, but I honestly thought I would be under the dropzone by now.
I wonder where I would have been if it wasn't for the bad luck. Looking at the points and estimating the lost points I think I belong around the top 3. Too bad I already lost 2 of my goals due to bad luck. The Giro top 10 which shouldn't have been a problem and the Overall top 5 which is now gone aswell.

Sitting is that 4th spot is not bad at all. Thank god my crashing strike ended after February and now I have a real chance to finish in the top 5.
