Transfer Update
Deals are being confirmed almost daily now.
Greg Henderson anounced his move. He will be joining Bretagne for next season. He says he likes the idea of being a clear leader, and will enjoy the chance to win. I wish him well.
Other transfers include;
A. Rasumssen HTC to SaxoBank
Bozic Vacansoleil to FDJ
Docker Skil to HTC
Lequatre RadioShack to AG2R
Casper Saur to Cofidis
A quick word from me, i have been glued to my telly for the last week watching the Tour. It has been amazing, i wont spoil anything except that the whole nation will be on the edge their seats until the finish in Paris
I've got no further in my arguement with Dave about my rest of season schedule, but i have been talking with Kjell and he would be willing to swap schedules with me, allowing me to the Tour of Britian, so heres hoping

Tour de France - Stage10 to 17
Stage 10; A 7 man break always looked strong, and Maaskant won the stage. The rest of the GC contenders finished together 1'04 back. But both Basso and Vinokourov abandoned.
Stage 11; A 3 man break was always doomed. Cavendish won the sprint, ahead of Bennati and Farrar, keeping the green jersey race tight.
Stage 12; Eleven made it as far as the Tourmalet alone, but it was all about the finale up to Luz Ardiden. Uran kept Wiggins in the lead group, then Brad attacked at 6.5km to go,
got a gap, then ground away. He kept grinding all the way to the line, taking his first Tour win.
Contador was 2nd 40" back, with Andy. Rigo was 6th 1'15 down.
GC 1st Wiggins 2nd A.Schelck @33" 3rd Uran @1'15
Wiggins 1st Kom
Stage 13; Lourdes was the site of a special finish. Sky dominated the climb, with a high pace covering all breaks. Then the finish, what a finish. Gerrans crossed the line in 1st, the Wiggins 2nd, Uran 3rd and Rogers 4th....!!!!
GC No change
Stage 14; The legend of the plateau, who wins here wins the Tour... Sky brought back the break comfotably before the climb. Wiggins and Uran went hard, going alone,
Then Wiggins accelerated at 9,5km to go. He powered away, in one of the best climbs for years. He blasted to the line alone for his second stage win....
Andy was 2nd 1'24 down!! Evans on 3rd was 2'13 down!!! Uran made it in 7th 2'39 back. This was a potential race wining ride.
GC 1st Wiggins 2nd A.Schelck @1'57 3rd Evans @3'44 4th Uran @3'35
Stage 15; No breakaway today, as the peloton took it easy. Farrar won the dash, with Cavendish second and Pettachi third.
Stage 16; It took until 70km to go to get a break, and it was Flecha, alone. He had enough energy to get to the line, confortably in Gap. Sky again dominated the head of the peloton not allowing breaks. Rogers was second and Uran thrid, a Sky 123!!!
No GC change
Stage 17; 14 men broke, and built a sibstantial lead, enough to go all the way. Jeanesson attacked on the final climb, ElFares tried to follow but was soon distanced. Jeaneasson won, with ElFares 2nd @31" and Pineau third @1'06. No changes in GC
The final 4 stages will go up individualy, so you can experience the Tours finale in all its glory, and our Glory. The UK is going crazy for Brad at the moment, with ITV4's coverage getting ratings of over 10million for its highlights, making it one of the top 5 shows!!
The team is doing amazingly, one of the best team displays ever! Well at least since the Giro

Tour de France - Stage 18
Flecha and Kurt held a high pace to the bottom of the Agnel, keeping any moves under check. Then as Geraint took over Kern, Roche and Coppel attacked, they got a maximum gap of 1'00, they were joined by Taarame after a few km. Porte and Kloden tried to get across but couldnt. Geraint pulled off just at the summit and Knees took over, as everone came back together.
Chavanel attacked on the Izoard, but couldnt get clear. Knees pulled all the way to the top, where he handed over to Simon, Michael and Serge.
Those three pulled to the base of the real Galibier. Voeckler tried to attack at 33km to go, but failed to get away. Kern tried at 16km but could only get a few seconds.
At 10km to go, Brad made his move.
He got a gap, then settled down to his rythm and pulled away. Brakjovic tried to counter but too late.
At 6km Evans, the Schlecks, Sanchez and Contador all went away from the rest.
At 3.5km A.Schleck and Contador attacked.
Wiggins went hard to the line, he was so focused he didnt celebrate until he was 50m over the line and in the press.
A.Schleck was 2nd ahead of Contador 1'25 back, while Uran struggled having protected Wiggins for most of the day.
GC 1st Wiggins 2nd A.Schleck @3'22 3rd Contador @5'22
Responding to AL's q.... The team hasnt been finalised, but we are targeting the Points cometition, so the leader will be Boasson-Hagen. I still want to ride the ToB, but my climbing skills are rapidly improving so i may go with a free-lance role to attack on the climbs, maybe get a second KoM jersey, if i go.

2 wins for Flecha.... Stage 9 and 16...
Its making me think i should move up to extreme..
And sort of annoying as Peter wont be the first british winner...
Transfer Update
Moris Possoni announced his ride for next season. After snubbing a decent, 2 year deal with Sky, he will join, for a year.... Endura Racing! Where he will be clear leader for the british outfit.

Tour de France - Stage 19
The attacks started on the Telegraphe, Taarame, Van den Broeck, Kreuziger, Coppel and Gautier all went clear. Kiriyenka, Roche and Kern tried to join them but couldnt cross the gap. Thomas stamped out the pace, passing over to Knees at the base of the Galibier.
Here Chavanel and Ablasini tried a move, but struggled to get away.
Knees handed over to Gerrans 5km from the summit.
They both pulled down the descent, catching the escapees at the base of the Alpe d'Huez.
Here Rogers and Pauwels took charge, stamping out a fast pace till 10km to go.
At 9km Contador, A.Schleck, Sanchez, Wiggins, Gesink and Evans all went clear.
At 5km Wiggins tried it alone, almost bridging to Contador and A.Schleck. Evans soon joined him.
At 3km A.Schleck went for it, dropping Contador.
Andy kept it to the line, claiming a great victory, Alberto was 2nd 19" down. Wiggins was 3rd 42" back.
GC 1st Wiggins 2nd A.Schleck @2'40 3rd Contador @4'59

Tour de France - Stage 20
Wiggins won over this course in the Daphine a month ago, can he do it again and dominate the GC?
Flecha set the quickest time early on, if only until the rider behind him, Vande Velde crossed the line.
Then a sight no-one ever thought they would see, Spartacus caught Tony Martin.....
Fabian went on to hold the fastest time until the GC contenders came in.
Rogers set the fastest time when he crossed the line.
Then Contador, then Evans, now only Wiggins was left.
He covered the last 4km at an average speed of 52km/h.
He crossed the line 2" quicker than Evans, a 4th stage win, and the Maillot Jaune was secured.
1st Wiggins 2nd Evans @2" 3rd Contador @23"
4th Rogers @25"
GC 1st Wiggins 2nd A.Schleck @4'36 3rd Contador @5'22
