Tenorio should overtake Intxausti, especially as it's a hilly time trial

I think the ITT will bring many shocked faces and lots of surprises here. It has absolutely nothing to do with a time trial if you play it on your own.
It`s more likely a lottery who is finishing strong and who not.
Normally it`s the best climbers and descenders and not the best time trialists due to the extrem high slopes. Definitely no hill TT. |

Just when I want a non-mountain mountain stage we get a proper one. |

Great stage by Pedraza! And 4th in the GC is awesome, even tough better TT:ers is close behind. But if it is as roturn says then anything can happen.

Tennant
Uran
Intxausti
Too bad Iglinski got lazy, and let Santander take the teams competition. Inadequate domination here in Oman
So Uran vs Pluchkin, may the luckiest man win!

Meh, you had Uran beating Pluchkin today, that's 82MO beating 83MO. I demand to take 8+ seconds tomorrow. Then again the stats are in my favour so should I?
Man, I would have liked that win though. Here's to hoping for the overall!

4th on the stage, 3rd overall, 3 in the top 25 and victory in the team classification.
Not bad for our first race in the Pro Tour, next up Catalunya.

Congrats to B&O.
Was a brilliant report, Smowz.
SN lost by 1s is really angry, on the other hand he got 2nd and 4th in the overall, so still pretty well.
Biggest surprise for me was Posthuma. Probably a +5 form. |

Excellent report. It had kept my interest and I do not even have a team in the race. |

Kept looking for my riders all the way through, but no mention what so ever made the report quite boring I think - I do however like the way you did it, but a bit dissapointed that there wasn't one single line about Serpa or Dees - whom were both in the line of taking a jump in either direction on paper. Both did HORRIBLE which was also worth a mention I think.
But nontheless I'm happy with 12th and 25th seeing how this race progressed. Now hopefully Lavoine can keep his top 3 sprint competition and score me some points.

Thanks for the positive feedback here guys. I guess the riders make the race and really stages 3 through to 6 have been exciting and the sprints on stage 1 and 2 were unpredictable. It would have been a crime for this reporter not to give it a damn good write - up.
A shame I have not had the time to get into creating video clips for all these, though not much to see on a time trial or really any more to add on the mountain stage.
It certainly is a titanic struggle between the top two and behind on the GC with some interesting stars emerging from the race.

Damn it. 2 stages wins but we miss the first goal of the season. Gesink would have won the race if it wasn't for that crash I think.

YES! That was some race! I'm not leaning back just yet though. There's still one stage. But we're close now!
Go on Pluchkin, bring it home!

Oh well, Pedraza going from 4th to 7th is of course not super, but I had it coming. Still really good results.
