Much better from my team though a 3rd Place instead of 4th would have meant a world. Nice try from Hagen aswell and first points on the board for the new season. Hopefully they'll keep at it this way and I will go out pleased.

it´s like deja-vu, after great sprint Mohs doesn´t bother to fight for another one...looks he can´t wear any leader jersey

I am truly ashamed in my team. Matt Rowe, please withdraw. Let your brother, the multiple Giro stage winner, have a go.

This is a great start. I am away but get online to find a solid ttt, goss making the splits in the second stage, and converting on good positioning in the 3rd stage. Now just a couple seconds back and looking good.

Well, if Bewley will be so consistent, he can have at least the points jersey in the end of the race!

Got to be honest, the PCM11 Wind Gameplay is dissapointing. The long lines of riders is nice, but its rare that anything happens because of it! Much less real splits occuring than in the past.
Excellent sprint by Swift though! Never intended to be having a leadout for him, I imagined him taking the role of the sprinters just trying to follow other teams' sprint trains and launch from that. Just as well then, because that tactic isnt working so well for them, when most just follow the 1 train. Sprinting gameplay has improved from PCM09, but its still far from perfect.

I'm quite surprised that Holloway can't compete at all... 8th, 20th and 15th is quite a lot worse than expected, but my train must be much to weak here...
I will be interested to see the Catalunya where I have a "strong" train, and see if that is the way to go. For this race I'm hoping for a one gut shot to make Holloway go into the overall top 10, for that to happen I need more wind though

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that practically the whole team were caught out on stage 1.
Castaneda pretty consistent with the Top 10s. Really seems to be down to whether the others can get time bonuses now to move him down the GC. |

4th, 5th, 4th. There should be time bonuses for top 5, not only for the podium, really.
And SN, thanks for that special "on-Bewley" video. It's a nice show of Sam's racing stupidity, Bewley probably doesn't know that there is 1:10 scale in PCM, because he always starts to sprinting with only 300m to go.
Anyway, the problem is I have only Howard here as a lead-out man here. Now I know I shouldn't changed Coppel for Hutarovich in last possible minute..

Guerao just isn't quick enough to compete against top sprinters, I won't bother sending him here again

But nice to see two trains of at least 3 riders per team.
Obviously Degenkolb really had a bad day as he totally blocked this one. Otherwise Bewley or Mohs could have done much better imo. |

Really nice videos, awesome to see. And even with replays, it's a bit like television. Thanks for the great reports!

I can forgive him, he´s still young and learning...it will take 2 seasons to become real beast

Well done by Holloway. He placed himself very good today, and 4th is good seeing how the competition have beat him so far. 3rd would've been amazing as he would've jumped to the top 10, but I'll take whatever amount of points I can get from this race...
Come on final stage, make some chaos

Great sprint again from Mohs. It`s nice to see the CT teams quite active. Pokerstars in the sprints, Oz in the breaks.
But most aggressive rider should be Dennis Van Winden. He was in at least 3 breaks if I remember right, He should get points for this. It`s the FDJ tactic, Trying to win every single intermediate sprint obviously. |

Well, you can be always the fastest man in the sprint, but if you are badly positioned.. it's still same, but at least it was 3rd place this time, so bonus seconds. Hopefully Sam can win the last stage to move himself to the podium of this race overall, otherwise this race will be a little bit like a disaster race for Milka.
Nice to see some good fighting spirit from Thomas De Gendt, most probably the most active rider of this stage and Ludovic Bret showed some nice effort as well. And congrats once again to Mohs and beagle, really great sprint by Mohs, that was impressive.
