I don't think it's legal for riders to ride on the same side of the road when they're close to eachother, right?

Don't forget that this yellow jersey gives you wings, Hushovd in the Mur de Bretagne and Super-Besse, Voeckler in the pyrennees and the Alps...

No, but if Frank positions himself about 5-10 seconds in front of andy, he'll act as a carrot from which andy can judge his effort. |

The greatest thing I just realised, Hesjedal might still get a Top 15, probably 16th for sure since its Zubeldia in front of him and by only 5 seconds I may add. But Jeannesson is 6 minutes ahead and I'm not sure how good he is at TT's.
Its too bad he was injured for a while there.

Haimar is a very good time-trialist, because of that you shouldn't be so sure about 16th place. Imo, Hesjedal's 17th place is already a very good result, because in most of mountain stages he helped Tommy D, instead of concentrating on GC. |

Peraud will be in the top10 swapping places with Rolland probably. How long was the final ITT in 2009? |

Nobody cares or remembers a 17th/16th place in the GC..really, why are you discussing that.
I also find it stupid that here in netherlands so many attention to Rob Ruijgh because he is 21th in the GC.
who gives a flying fuck
I barely remember all of the top 10 of last years tours.
I did a test on a certain site. I could remember top 10 of 2010, but from 2009 i only knew 8, and then every year backwards I remember less and less. From 2000 I only remember 4 guys frm top 20... |

In all mountainstages after the stage to Lourdes (where both Hesjedal and Hushovd were in the breakaway), Hesjedal has been free to ride as good as he possibly can, to defend Garmin - Cervelos lead in the team classification. And him, Vandevelde and Danielson have done great, having almost 12 minutes to AG2R now. I think they "only" had 7 minutes or something after the stage where Hushovd and Hesjedal were in the breakaway.

The guy lives in Canada and is a fan of Hesjedal, why he couldn't write about it.
Btw, 1 day ago you wrote about Gesink finishing 21st, by your logic, who cares about 21st?

Thats probably because your country has more than one well known rider, for Canadians its something special. Afterall we've only really had one other well known rider and thats Steve Bauer although Alex Stieda and Gordan Fraser were both very good too.
For me a Top 15 is much more special that 17th, and obviously if we are discussing it, some people do care about it. I dont understand why you're discussing whether its worth discussing or not, if you dont think its important talk about something else or ignore it.
Also @ I_Mayo: Your right I totally discounted Zubeldia's TT strength, that said I dont think he's quite as good as he used to be. Also another thing that I remembered is although I find Hesjedal very under-rated in the TT, he doesn't do that well in final week TTs. (So you're probably right)

But what is harder or more prestigious - to finish 21st on stage or to finish 17th on GC?

And about Hesjedal, he had bad luck this Tour and in the end worked really well for his, new, leader. No shame in that.
He will surface soon. I expect Hesjedal to do well in the Canadian classics |

Watch out for Boasson Hagen tomorrow. Finished 3rd on the same ITT in the Dauphine and seems to be in considerably better form now. Hopefully the early starters don't get owned by the weather. Cancellara and Martin the obvious favorites ofc.
Hopefully Evans delivers. I can't stand the thought of one of the Schleck sisters on top. |

Everyone is saying that Cadel has better skills in TT than Andy... but, this is the "last" stage of the Tour for the GC... and recovery and energy I think are more important.
Last year... everyone said that Contador will take more than a minute to Andy... but there were only 27 seconds between them. Contador was only 12 seconds in front of Andy...
This year I think Andy will defend yellow jersey...
I like all cyclist... dont have a favourite if there is show!!!
They say that Cadel doesn't attack... but I don't think so.
It's easy to say that when you don't ride a bike during the TdF...
Lucky us to have this amazing TdF with full expectatives for this TT and also the green and white jersey are not secured.
My pred:
Stage: F.Cancellara
GC: A.Schleck
Green: M.Cavendish (and all the out of bounds riders)
White: R.Taaramae
You do realise Cadel was riding with a broken elbow last year? |

cadels body was in so much pain its amazing he dident lose more time on fabian than what he did, i think cadel is also in the best form of his life and will push andy right to the limit i can see the result going both ways by 1 or 2 seconds shell be a ripper stage,

I made the comparison with his rival... last year was Contador... and he was 12 seconds behind.
He lost 27 seconds.
Now it's Evans... but he is in front by 57 seconds.
I just put Cadel for reference if anyone asked... but I know he was out of contention.
I think I do. Please... try to read.
