About the freeze, do you happen to have a PS3 slim ? Another user reported on cyanide's forum something similar but on all our tests (and those from sony) this issue never arised. We would really need to have more info to see where it can come from.
I had a freeze merely 5 minutes after starting to play. When starting the second section of the first stage, I clicked to continue and five seconds later I had to restart my PS3 because everything was frozen. Only the music kept playing.
I have an old fat PS3 40Gb.
I didn't play that much yet, luckily it was the only time so far it froze |

I don't really know if i like the fact that you can't hold a steady tempo and almost always have to push the O button to stay at the same position.
Also the TTT times are fairly strange. The simulated ones are really lower compared to the the once in 3d.
Other minor things: Tondo should be removed. TT helmets are missing? |

i hate the passiveness of my teammates, i'm in front with vanendert to take some mountain jersey points, on a sudden moment, almost all gc riders escaped from the bunch except for van den broeck and Gilbert (it was the saint flour stage, not mountain so he should be able to follow)...
Also why doesn't the AI let Greipel sprint when i'm not controlling him...
and is it even possible of making a lead out train?

How large were the breakaway groups? I found that the bunch will rarely chase down the breakaway when nearly every team has a rider in the breakaway. So far logical, but where it becomes not logical is that it doesn't matter who of the team is in the front. e.g. you can have a lead group with lots of sprinters, but the team that has a non-sprinting rider in front with them will do nothing to chase them. |

Well the stage 1 was Popovych all alone he got 18 mins, stage 3 was Farrar, Brajkovič and Sagan, that got 16 mins. Stage 4 was Voeckler alone he got 17 mins. |

Only played a couple of stages so far (plus TTT) and here are my initial observations.
Like already mentioned, I don't like having to keep pressing the effort buttons to maintain the same level. It's just a little frustrating especially when using comms.
Also, some of the sections are just plain dull. There should be x2, x4, x8 speed options for each section that is playable.
Still not sure how best to use my team mates. If I want to set up a sprint train, would I order a few of my guys to protect me?? If I ask them to relay, they just relay at the front of the peleton.
Anyway, I won the first stage of my tour with Gilbert , attacking just before that rise at the end of the stage after catching the breakaway.

Oh and also, again already mentioned, LT and RT is just not sufficient to see behind, should be able to see all the way round. I dropped half my team in the TTT which I appreciate can happen in real life, but without being able to look all the way back I couldn't see if my team were there anyway! |

shouldn't it be an idea to have the choice at each start of the playable sections to choose which rider you want to be from your team? So in the first part you play with the escapee or the one you want for the mountain classificiation... in the end you play with you gc rider |

That does not work for me, even when i put my own men to the front with 90% work effort. Nothing works. |

Still is a bad thing, that i will most likely win TDF, bcuz of the poor Race engin, There is no way i'm gonna lose 18 or 16 mins with Popovych or Brajkovis. i already won TDF because of it.
There must be a way to stop the breakaway, with having to kille you own me, to catch up on your own rider. |

I had one stage where the breakaway had already finished by the time the peloton had started the last 16km section. 24 mins ahead
Also, I attacked with Boasson Hagen at the start of a stage and nobody went with him. Won solo by 15 mins into Gap. Nearly got the points jersey because of it. |

did a single stage Alp huez. Have to say it was fun.
Sent sanchez in a break away nobody followed so i ride alone, after him when the first climb start a group escapes, i sent garate with them. Well the group didnt hold on, but sanchez managed to get untill alphuez Alone, There the bunch explode, and soon a group with the favorites are gone, i just manage to jump to them with gesink., So 8 cyclist are gone. I have no clue if im strong my red is soon gone, but the yellow is still there. Server atcks, and everytime i can come back with a steady temp. Then the last 3 km, I can get away by riding just temp. Sissy schlock Jumps to my wheel, The last 2,5km its between me and him. Then he drops back a bit, thought i was alone, look left, no schlock, look right, and i just see the d... makes a final atack. I cant follow, cause i didnt had red left. Then the last km, schlock blow him self up i guess, because i get closer and ccloser, 500m, 450m,400, and at 250m i am back at his wheel.
Then the las couple of meters he start to sprint and i just cant pass him. Got 2nd with gesink on the alp. |

This only happened to me once (in the first stage I ever played). Played about 30 more stages so far and never occured again, break was always caught, except twice with maybe 1-2 min left. That's one reason I always save the game at the beginning of a stage, so I can just go back if it should ever happen again... |
