From a CTour point of view I note that Cerne have kept 4 out of their five best riders from last year Protour including Pozzovivo and LL Sanchez. That is an excellent effort.
Looking forward to seeing who Vespa's new elite signing will be now Steegmans have gone, I am sure that will alert several Protour squads
Red Bull's contracts are completed... I kept all the star men eventually, though I will admit there was some thoght about the last round. Excellent stuff I must say.

Cerne should be good this year then ;-)
Anyway, seems like there aint alot of big riders leaving their teams during the renewals (I decided to ignore Valverde, Duarte, Marchante and Steegmans... :-p) compared to last year. Then again, there are already a crazy amount of talent from the teams disbanding.
Btw Fenian, Columbia just got a heap of money to throw at Alarcon?

I'm very eager to look at the marked. I have a few riders I'm definately going for, whether they are free or not, but the FA's marked could be more interesting than ever.

There are 5 riders with 78+ mountain in the CT.
Is it just me or is that an insanely low number, which is going to change big time in the transfer season.

I would prefer if it did not mb :-p At the moment Rohregger and Kessiakoff are one of the best GC-pairs in CT ;-)

But I'm pretty sure that it will change. Most of the good climbers will go to the PT but there will be plenty heading to the CT as well. There's not enough room for all in the first division

When I last looked in the DB, there were at least 20 free agents with 78+ Mountain, so ....!

What will happen after you receive the renewals? What is the time perspectives and such?
Just so I can plan the most of what I need. I have a week in Barcelona from august 1st to august 5th. I could imagine that our transferperiod could be within that time also.

He wants to start it during June, so I bet we're finished 1st of August. Really looking forward to the transfer season, will be the first one when I can participate 100% as I was gone last year

If you feel you might be away during the transfers, then yes, please do PM me and let me know the dates. But, dont do this if you are going to be away in August, because the transfers will easily be done by then.
I do know exactly when I intend to start transfers, but of course, Im not telling you that

I think it all depends when are the all renewals done. But I see the transfer season can start at any time now, because in July and August it isn't probably the best thing to do sit behind the PC, you know..
So my bet it will all start in less than 72 hours.

So.. Quick question:
I'm currently in Round 1. If I offer the rider what he demands in "Wage Demanded" I'm secure to sign him?
It's just. My best performing riders doesn't demand any increase from last season, while some of my suckiest does
Is that just my luck? |

It means you probably paid him too much last season, but yeah you are sure to sign him.
You might as well negotiate though

Not too much though, as they could end up asking for more, than they originally did.

Thanks for clearing that up
Another one, it has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in this thread. If I don't want to re-sign a rider, do I just leave the box empty or entering the value '0' or how does it work? |
