They don't. It's two fundamentally different games in terms of gameplay - it should not be seen as a direct conversion.
I guess that's also why the games have two different names (Pro Cycling Manager (PC) and Tour de France (console)).
I didn't have it, but can I ask what is the honest difference between the add-on that they released for half the price and this? Other than graphical, gameplay refinements, there dosen't appear to have been too much change to warrant it becoming a full game.
Here's hoping they're pushing it through for the start of the Tour and they'll release some other events later through DLC
I suppose the first paragraph is about the PC-game: I didn't really enjoy PCM10, mostly thanks to the AI/gameplay. If that's changed for the better, that's enough for me to buy a new game. Feature-wise, there's the addition of changing sponsors which I have requested for years.
I agree that it's not a lot, but then again: When did PCM ever evolve a lot from one year to another?
Your 2nd paragraph is about the console game - yes, I also hope that some DLC will be added, but it depends on the success of the game, I guess.

Regarding the first paragraph, I was actually talking about the add-on that was released a few yeara back for xbox. I may be wrong, but I think it was around £10/£15. Yes, the version they are releasing now has better gameplay features, but the game is essentially the same in that you play through the Tour de France and only the Tour de France. What actually justifies the game suddenly increasing in price and becoming a "full" game?
I'm not attacking anyone, I'm just genuinely interested
You can't compare the two games. I never played it, but I suppose it's like the PSP version (which I did play), just with better graphics.
In the PSP game, you controlled the entire team. The gameplay was very simple, and the stages were quite short.
This game is a full game - the AI is way more complicated, you only control one rider, but can interact with your own team as well as the rival teams, and the game is played in a 1:1 scale.
The only similarity between the two games is the fact that you play the Tour de France. But as far as I remember, the PSP game did also have other races, e.g. Paris-Roubaix
I'm really glad they've decided to do something about the sprints. It just looks ridicouluse with a train composed of Cavendish, Boasson Hagen, Greipel and Napolitano. Hopefully a sprinter might suffer a bit from not having a strong team around him.
In my career Cavendish moved to Rabobank and got more than twice as many wins as he did with HTC. It's gonna be very exciting to see how it plays out since riders can't pass through eachother.
Breathtaking graphics to say the least, hopefully the gameplay will be as great. If yes, PCM11 will be absolutely fantastic! Also new background-music is quite cool
