Festina rider, and newly crowned Lithuainian TT champion Ramunas Navardauskas, has expressed his interest in the setup of a baltic cycling team. He feels that this could be a great chance to prove himself as the best timetriallist in the region, and also a good chance to get a leaders role in smaller races with flat stages and a TT included.
Australian sprinter Mitch Docker has been rumoured the other way, do you have any comments on this?
Whilst Navardauskas would indeed be a good fit within the team, such opportunities to lead would be few and far between - a move wouldn't be entirely unlikely, though.
As for Docker, his departure is highly dependent upon his renewals wage, or a very generous offer being received.

Docker wins AUS RR, strengthens position within team.
National Championships are almost always unpredictable. Either the outright favourite will dominate, or a surprise victor will pop-up to take it. Favourites were Gerrans, Davis and Lloyd, given the hilly nature of the course. However, smart riding saw Docker within the decisive break, and his natural strength ensured he just snatched the win at the last.
Now assured to be wearing the green and yellow bands of Australian national champion, team management responded by saying that Mitch almost definitely will be staying.
Docker also added, that he'd had a great season at the team, and wasn't at all adverse to the idea of another year on their roster. However, he went quiet when questioned about a move to the ProTour, or a chance to replace Baden Cooke over in Australia's favourite team, he merely offered a grin, and said "we'll see."
Team mate Lowe also took 7th, capping off a strong day for the team.
Meanwhile, Konovalovas outsmarted his escapee companion to take the the Lithuanian Road Race title. In the TT, it was a strong showing, but 2nd was the best he could manage, with Navardauskas taking the win.

Well, that's interesting.. very interesting read
Congrats again! Even though, I'm a bit frustated over the Aussie-RR, it was indeed a thrilling race.
I thought you'd enjoy it I've clearly fell victim to the 'meiji/ oz effect', and I just love the idea of an NC riding for your team.
That said, depending on Docker's wage, he may have to stay - it will be quite difficult to replace him, and I certainly hope to make better use of him this year. Alongside Vaitkus and my other minor sprinters, we could have the forming of a sprint train...
