Correct, you could see him on the front of the chase group a few minutes ago

That was a bad idea. If i was the DS of Farnese I would rather have Miyazawa in the first group just in case the chase group doesn't rejoin the front (which it looks like they wont reach them now).

Miyazawa had been in the break all day, he wasnt going to get a result

Okay then that move makes much more sense. I started watching at 60km to go because I just got up.

How did the peloton split into this two main groups? Was there an accident or something, or did it just split on a hill?

Hushovd, Cav and Freire definitely had punctures/crashes. But not sure why there was such a big split.

Oh my....first on the Cipressa and now on the Poggio, hello adverts. Unbelievable.

Great time for a commercial. It looks like Gilbert just attacked, but I don't know. Angry

Omega sends Greipel now, smart move, Gilbert can go all in on Poggio, and Greipel can ride a little slower on the Poggio, and still hold on to the first bunch.

You don`t see such a move from a pure sprinter that often.
I like.

30 seconds.

Go Offredo! Awlays fancied him as an outside chance - hence why I stuck him in my fantasy team.

OmegaPharma really chasing though.

I expect the attacks of Gilbert and Nibali on Poggio

Here we go. Would love to see Offredo take this Smile

Never imagined we would be seeing O'Grady leading the race onto the Poggio!
