Bronze in the U23TT from Schädlich is nice. Bernaudeau 4th also good.
And Spain winning the TTT ahead of Netherlands making 3 medals for me there also. Nice!

Keep in mind, he's still mine next season
He's been awful this year, though. Maybe me to blame, I don't know. |

How can he be yours next season? Wasn't it forbidden to make deals recently by SN?

Keep in mind, jolly can keep him if he wants him. There are no 2 year loans.

Bringing it up again, i think it simply has to do with earlier starters putting up a better time (this includes Zabriskie).

Similar wind level, and Phinney was pretty much the last starter both times.

and a minute faster than Spain in the TTT, I wonder if next year the US strategy for the TTT would be to just pick Phinney and Zabriskie?

Well, at least Gesink got a medal, plus other 2 riders in top 10
But I'm afraid this was Gesink's best chance of becoming a World Champion

Phinney is a monster, even though his escapades may give me a bit of cap hit.

And I have to say that 4th for Uran and 6th for Schleck is a brilliant result for Vesuvio. Kittel 20th and Ford 23rd is decent considering the hills, and Intxausti seemed to have an off day.

Wow Ignatiev was 30th - that hill must be pretty mountainous.
Regarding Phinney going faster that his U23 ITT - I did think Phinney and Tenerio's gap to Schladlich was smaller than I thought it was going to be. Clearly there is something about making the riders only go as fast as they need to go.
IN the team ones - there are lots of strange things like dropped riders not getting dropped as much as they should do.
Anyway congrats to dave92 - having the top two - hate to think what Phinney's wage request is going to be!

The TTT thing is odd. At one point I saw that Brutt and Kovalev had both been dropped by Russia, yet at the finish they were all together again, and I think Brutt was even 5th over the line.
Thats cya-logic game dynamics probably.

long team time trial's are the easiest stages to win in the whole game, because riders don't die properly.
just go 99 flat out and you win by a couple of minutes.

Phinney is going to cost a pretty penny. I heard a rumor of what his pay was for last year with Trek-Livestrong. I was amazed.
