Ricco is putting his life at stake to try and win the Giro this year. What an idiot. |

The team can not prejudge, but emphasizes that a zero-tolerance policy towards doping is practised.
Right......how soon till they announce they've signed Dekker?

Like Liquigas with Basso? Astana with Vino? Garmin with Millar? Vacansoleil just thought the same as all those other teams with ex-dope riders. In the end, you can say, this wasn't the right decision for Vacansoleil. |

yrh, they hoped and put alot of faith in Ricco that he has learned his lesson, like Basso, like Vino and like Millar, but Ricco will never learn and may aswell announce his retirement from cycling because no tem is gonna want him now.

He has a life ban He'll be facing one if his cheating is proved. It's a matter of time and procedures, but he doesn't have a life time ban yet, as far as I know. |

No, he doesnt have one yet, since its not proven but its only a matter of time, id say. And as Roturn already said, he is most likely facing a 3 years prison sentence as well...

He will get a life time ban for sure as there are already proves that he had an blood transfusion. They tested it after te rumours. Also the Italian anti doping agency said that he will get a life time ban. So no question at all.
Actually the prison term can be between 0,5 and 3 years. So I don`t think that he will get the full 3 years.
Other news. Peter Van Petegem is Garmin`s new expert for the classics. If Hushovd, Haussler, Maaskant, Vansummeren etc. really need one.
He is supposed to give important advices how to ride on cobbles the best.

I hope that this time he'll tell everything he knows about doping, etc. in order to avoid going to jail. That would be the most useful thing he could do. |

Im amazed why he has done this, Ricco, I kinda thought he would dope again but to these lengths to win and gain an advantage, and throw away your career, your job, he had a 2nd shot, but hes too dumb to see that. Its quite unbelieveable.

I now know why Geox didn't get/haven't been invited to many races. Their kit.
The worst I have EVER seen. It's got a shower head on it. Come ON!

Isn't it a boot sole with that 'breathing technology'?I'd find it really odd for a shoe company to present itself with a picture of a shower head.
Besides I consider the kit quite acceptable

It`s indeed a shoe, but at first I also tough it`s a shower head
In my opinion the whole jersey is quite acceptable and much better than some others. |

With Van der Schueren doing the signings, you can bank on the fact that "riding clean" isn't even considered in that team.

I agree that all those guys should get the same treatment. I disagree in the treatment they've received though. It'd be better if they had been banned for life. All them are liars, and I just don't think that one ceases to be a liar after a two years long holiday. |
