Tour Down Under - Stage 4
1 Cameron Meyer - Garmin-Cervelo
2 Thomas de Gendt - Vacansoleil
3 Laurens Ten Dam - Rabobank

So the breakaway made it to the finish, surprise. They only had like 1.30 with about 50 kms to go, so really bad job by HTC and the other sprinterteams.

Meyer is now the new leader of the race.

Btw there was a crash at the end, again today.. Dont think it was that many riders though.

No team but the South Americans and Liquigas had enough time trial bikes. Even Movistar and Ag2R just a few for their leader. Most Europeans rode with the normal road bike because of the logistic. This would explain the great results by the unknown riders from South Amreica plus their motivation and better form.

Well if you ask me, De Gendt started sprinting waaay to early. Nice win for Meyer though. Riding om home soil always gives you a boost.
