"Oooh a red shirt near the front" "Damnit, not me"
Its annoying having Santander here, makes Vesuvio's jersey a lot less distinctive in the zoomed out shots.

Will injuries have effect on TT results? Or was it only in the previous versions where injuries didn't mean anything in those?

Im not entirely sure, but usually injured riders do much better in tts than any injury would suggest

Alright. So I can't tell from the TT whether or not Contador is over his injury... He needs to be without any injury to get a top 10 now... And Madrazo probably won't go for the top 10 himself with Contador here :-/
Damn how much a crash can do. It can cost me two season goals. Getting top 10 here and getting top 5 Pro Tour :-(

What the hell is Bazajev doing? In perfect position but screws it all up by going into the wind with 3 km left. Sigh.

Thinks with Reynes getting fourth there, it was the first points Cafe de Colombia have scored this race. Hope things are about to change. |

I'm now fully expecting Roelandts to hold this lead for the rest of the Vuelta, to make up for no stage win

Looking alright for Lövkvist still. It's difficult to say how well he'll do in the mountains, but one can always hope. |

Really looking forward to the next two stages now...pleasing TT performance from Valverde there.
If he can hang tough tommorrow, there's a chance of the leaders jersey the stage after. |

I could never really have hoped for Intxausti to be in such a good position as he is now after the first week, and a good ride as we hit the mountains should see him back in race lead - assuming Brajkovic works for Schleck here. And from there, damage limitation on that hilly stage ... hopefully the climb at the end is steep enough to help Intxausti in some way.

my hope is that Tenorio gets his ass into the top 10 by the end and win a stage. I;m not asking for much, just for my team to become less anonymous.

Seems Contador is still injured though. Not being able to beat the likes of Valverde here aw!
Well only the next stage can really tell. If he is right where he should be then my goal of top 10 isn't out of the question yet, but it's damn close to being impossible...

I've been so close to the leaders jersey with both Haussler and Reus, and haven't had it. I suspect I won't stand a chance the second we hit the mountains now.

Contador got unlucky, he and Tenorio had the wind against them so were much slower than they should have been

Alright. Still I don't quite think, that he will be well enough to make a good result. Whereas Cunego got his crash with several days to recover, Contador are thrown right into the mountains after his crash...
When do you anticipate the next stage will be up?

Sometime in the next hour, with another one either this afternoon or this evening

Cool... My fingers are heavily crossed for Contador to be ready, though I'm expecting the worst.

It's the best attitude to have with the ManGame. If Conta crashes and burns now, you won't be as dissapointed as I would be with Valverde or SN would be with Benat. |

Seemed Valverde enjoyed being back in the PT in a GT. Worked out well for him - if he can just snatch the leaders jersey, I think he will be difficult to beat. Of course, getting the leaders jersey will be easier said than done. |
