You are probably right. I will have the same problems in the Tour I think. Hopefully that nationbonus will have a greater affect on him though

Arrrggggggghhhhhh.....I hate Wiggle.
In truth Gatto is doing much better than I was expecting.
Enjoying the Giro in that Vespa are certainly making themselves visible. Had riders in the break just about every day.
You see, I'm missing that aspect. I used to like seeing my riders (from Wiggle) in the break, I don't get that anymore on flat stages with Rowe as a favourite.
Still, I'm just glad I'm doing better than my Italian rival's. Home grown talent - pah!
Was also good to see Luke's brother up there in a top 15 finish for Lipton. Go the Rowe brothers!

For fucks sake, just when I start to get into the game again, Intxausti randomly loses 2 minutes, with no explanation.

Castaño still going strong. Unfortunately Ardila couldn't keep up. It would've been a great option to have 2 riders within 2minuts and the top 10.
Ulissi is a bit dissapointing here, had hoped for him to pose a serious stage threat, but as Castaño keeps up I can't be unhappy. Too bad he lost the mountain jersey by one point though. That would've been a good thing.

Yeah that really sucks. Don't quite get how Ardila lost 1,30 either :-/

Intxausti may not be the greatest on the hills, but stats wise, he is very similar to Henao Montoya on the terrain. And the Colombian took 2nd in the stage..

Shame to see Keinath losing contact in the finale and nor do I get how since he's stronger than Grivko who even came close to grabbin the stage. Still I can only be pleased.

Yay...the moutains jersey is back with Vespa.
Weird stage - Quinziato was in the front group and Bosisio a good ways behind.
Meant to say after the last sprint stage that it was good to see the sprinters contest it and not the GC men. |

No time lost for Devolder, and Intxausti screwing up - can't complain. |

Nespresso. What else?
Seriously now, it's weird. Maybe a big split while he was in the back of the peloton. |

It's one of those situations where Vesuvio (and other teams such as Auber) were simply sitting too far back. Gazzetta also were the same but Cunego kinda was just about far enough up to avoid the split.
The sprint was also a case of who was in the right place, Ulissi for example was almost at the back and came right up towards the top 10. |

Damn straight! That is just amazing
Good thing I took the risk by putting Ulissi into this Giro. He is yet to cost one of my captains seconds by going for a stagewin, and this is the 2nd stage he has taken. He is still in for a good position in the sprint jersey aswell. Hadn't seen him win this one though, my money was on the previous stage, but who cares!
Great performance!
Also interesting that Cunego seems to be back in shape.

Rujano 11th, just outside of the Top-10 (sponsor goal), with two TTs, a couple of hilly stages and only one mountain stage. Acceptable.
And Leezer, by the 13th stage, has just missed the break of the day in 2 stages (if you don't count the TTs)
