Good news, might actually have some challenge, and helpers might actually run out of energy so the leaders can attack.

im just kinda afraid they fucked up smthelse now.. maybe unrealistic results of hilly stages in grand tours
Have always been more or less unrealistic. You won't see a lot of GC guys attacking on the intermediate stages. Might happen in the Giro or Vuelta, but rarely happens in the Tour.

Great news, And it's great to see that Cyanide is busy trying to solve most of the problems!

Good news.
Although it seems that they haven't even noticed the problem of a peloton with still about 50 riders at 5 km to go.
Of course Cavendish etc. has been dropped, but guys like Kern, Knees etc. should NOT be able to stay with the best this close to finish irl.
Furthermore, in PCM10 we never see a team actually pulling/setting up for their captain like in PCM09 or irl.
IRL you'll see guys like Fuglsang, Sørensen pulling at the front, dropping the peloton down to about 15-20 riders at most. Instead, in the game we see a Contador sometimes attack from the bottom, which makes for quite unrealistic gameplay, as he does not make any use of his great helpers...
Happy that Cyanide actually looked at the problems like they said they would though |

There were not many stages included with the original release.
The community have made quite a few of the missing ones as you say - whether the stage pack will include these I don't know. |

I doubt that the stage pack will include much, if any, that the community hasn't made. Some stages may be in better quality, though. |

One just has to read through the copyrights and realise that anything made through the stage editor belongs to Cyanide - therefore it's highly likely it'll just be community made stages

No, it's not.
It'll probably be stages made by the Cyanide Stage Team (Serifo, Freire, perhaps a few more). |

Serifo has released the stages he's made. Freire has stated he is working on the new patch, not on stages. Please tell me if you have additional info

There will probably be a mix between Cyanide stages and community made stages. At least community stages will be in the pack. Doubt if there will be any new stages in the stage pack.

Cyanide said that they were focusing on quality (stages) rather than quantity (referring to the community). It would be quite weird if they then took the community stages, stuffed them into a pack and named it Cyanide's Stage Pack. |

Won't take them long to check if some of the community stages has good quality. There are several quality stages made by the community and they sure will be in.

I just really hope they fix riding in mountains. I believe the reason for the mountainstages being wonky is that your riders seem to run out of energy before their bars deplete.
If you've got red-bar, your rider functions as intended. You can up his effort, and relay at high pace if you wish. When your red runs out, your rider starts to act really strange. It's as if someone is behind him, not even on his wheel, but just fairly close behind, and he has red bar - your rider will drop his pace automatically. Shouldn't effort and speed up a mountain be determined by your yellow bar? Unless you're attacking of course.
I've not yet, through 100+ mountainstages, managed to drain my yellow bar completely. You'll drain your red, and your rider will roughly settle at a heartrate of 174 and go up at whatever pace that is. Riders will pass him in the relay when they build a little red, then he'll pass them when he does, etc. The old system was absiolutely fine. If you've got yellow bare, you can go faster. I do like the red regenerating as fast as it does, but that'll work fine with the old system.
I believe the problem is also evident while trying to set up a sprinttrain. Try and set up 4-5 riders, and start from like 10km - you should be able to keep your speed up as long as you've got yellow AFAIK. Right now, if you run out of red - your train will slow down considerably. |

Itd seem that people clearly got ripped off by Cyanide.

I've captured a few videos showing the problem described in #98.
I'm compressing and uploading to youtube now. |

mads_0: you have to upload the replay generated by the game so that cyanide can look into the problem. If you make a video, they see the problem but not the cause. |
