Giro d'Italia 2010 - Stage # 10
The stage profile
The most active rider in this stage was Damiano Cunego (LAM) with no less than 8 attacks. That's why he probably cracks in the last climb of this stage.
Menchov (RAB), Basso (LIQ) and Anton (EUS) were the most effectives riders in the last climb because no attack of them but they escape only with incrasing their speed at 2km of the top of the last climb.
Incredible win for Denis Menchov (RAB) who retake the pink jerseys with a huge advantage on D.Cunego (LAM).
We lost Graeme Brown (RAB) for the rest of the giro, a bike fall broke his hand. Damn it.

Giro d'Italia 2010 - Stage # 11
A breakaway with 6 riders tries to escape the peloton. Lars Boom (RAB) is the most dangerous rider for the general in this breakaway. He's back at 21'06" of D.Menchov.
The peloton starting to come back with 100 km to go but the breakaway is at 11'.
Lars Boom (RAB) found him self alone 4 minutes in front of the peloton on the top of the Passo di Turchino at 18km of the finish line.
Amazing, L.Boom (RAB) resist to the return of the peloton with Lampre and Columbie riders to bring the sprinters to take the remaining points at the finish line.

Individual Time Trial - 62km distance. Only the best can win this one.
Before the stage.
D.Cunego: "It will be hard to beat Menchov today. I got to focus on my self and give all that I can for the team".
S.Garzelli: "You will see something different today. Keep an eye on me, I'm very in shape".
D.Menchov: "Will se at the finish line who's the best today".
Garzelli focusing on his effort today.
Cunego doing it well.
That's what he was thinking before seeing that.

Giro d'Italia 2010 - Stage 13.
Well in this stage we do not want our leaders to take the race control. Maybe the other teams want to do so. But the sprinters does not have heart.
The comeback is performed from km 100 but the Lampre and Columbia. The breakaway with 15 riders is far as 9 minutes.
The peloton is formed at 10km of the line and the Points leader D.Bennati (LIQ) is ready to sprint with A.Petacchi (LAM) and M.Cavendish (THR) in front of him.
the finish line is close on 2 riders but the Lampre sprinter is the strongest today.

At 1 week of the last stage.
Here's a stage for the punchers.
Ivan Basso (LIQ) is in shape again. D.Menchov (RAB) will not counter any attack in the final,he will just increase of decrease his speed to pretect his 1st position in the Road to Glory.

Giro d'Italia 2010 - Stage # 15.
A hilly stage in a flat finish. M.Bruseghin (GCE) tries an attack at 30 km of the finish line and make a huge gap of the peloton controled by D.Menchov (RAB) teamates.
A.Kloden (RSH) and A.Vinokourov (AST) tries to come back on M.Bruseghin but he's too fast.
With the Rabobank controlling the race it's not really dangerous for D.Menchov.

Pergola - Monte Petrano - 237 km after the last rest day of the giro.
D.Menchov was not in a really good day (-4). He was greatly helped by B.Mollema (RAB) and J.M.Garate (RAB) in the final to protect his leader jersey.

Criterium du Dauphine Libere - Stage # 2
Flat stage - 212 km
The Rabobank will face against the breakaway.
At 10 km of the finish line we are ready to launch the sprint.
O.Freire (RAB) is in 3rd position behing his opener Leezer and Garate. S.Dumoulion tries to follow Freire but it's hard.
Instead of passing in front of Freire, Dumoulin resist to the return of Allan Davis (AST).
