Go into my documents/pcm planner/uci buttons. There you have an icon named unknown.png. Its a grey bar with a question mark in it. Copy it and name the copy unknown_C.png. It should work after that. |

Hi,
New player here, only just started playing and I have a question!
I have the PCM daily DB v2.1, and have got the planner working by creating the Unknown_C.png.
I decided to "leap into the deep end" and created a custom team using a few established riders, some scouted youngsters and a fair number of loewr middle ranked young riders with 'potential'. I have a team of 16.
However, as they are a new team, they only have invites to a few races and will have to rely heavily on Wild Cards. ATM they have no races until May!
Can I use the season planner to put them into races I hope they get the WC for? Or do I have to stick to races for which they are already invited?

Once I have sorted out a plan (assuming I can), I just export it back to the same folder with a new name ie Test.cbd (as mentioned above) and use the Load facility from the main game menu to carry on? |

About the fix:
Why didn't you download the fix as mentioned in my post just above yours?
About the race participation:
I thought that it is explained in the instructions on the main screen of my tool, didn't you read it?
To give a more detailed answer:
Only top races like Tour de France give out wildcards. You will receive an email asking if you want to apply for the WC. You could use my tool to plan these races in advance but if the game denies your request, you cannot cheat your team into the race using my tool.
For all other races you could sign in using the calendar in the game (some requests might be denied) or select them directly in my tool (will never be denied in the game)
About using my tool in general:

I spotted that you added a new planner.exe in a zip file. I DLed that and replaced the old .exe from from Season Planner folder.
Unfortunately, that gave me a different error:
....could not find file........./conti_1_1.png
So, I deleted the entire folder, re-extracted and renamed the button as mentioned in an earlier post. Didn't bother to DL the created uci button zip as I assumed it only changed the one mentioned in the original.
I'll start over with the new exe and your button zip file.

Re: invites vs wildcards. Blast! I told you I was new, I just assumed you had to wait for invites as that's what happened with the Tour Down Under. Didn't realise you could request an invite for most of the races!
haha - I'm new to Pro-Cycling too, only got into it when I was made redundant last year and was able to watch every stage of TdF on Eurosport! That makes a huge difference to just watching the 1 hour highlight show on ITV!
Time to restart my pathetic PCM career I think and try to make a better plan.

hello..
i get the same error as alakagom in the beginning of this page.. i can't even load a carriere.. i have the latest patch and downloaded the pcm daily latest db..
i don't really know what to do because i don't know a lot of computer programs and such..
maybee someone can help me..

This is a common problem if you do not unpack it correctly.
If you have WinRar installed it should be enough to right-click the compressed file and select "extract to here". |

Hi Lachi
I've made a specific fitness schedule for each rider on my team, but it seems I can't save them ingame. I am able to load the schedules, see them and save, but when I quit the game and load the career again, they are all gone from the riders training programme. As if their training has been reset. Any clue?

Error Message:
Der Index 0 ist entweder negativ oder über der Gesamtanzahl der Zeilen.
Any suggestions?

Hello guys!
I installed the lachis editor, too. It works after a while. With the new 2011er DB from pcmdaily there is only one problem: In the season planer i cant see the terrain of 1.2 and 2.2 races. There is only a "?" when I chose them for start. Is that a problem, when i import the planer into my savegame and start racing in 1.2 and 2.2 races? Will the game crash than?
