So any helper can cut off opposing riders then from now on? Cool.
Again, where did Cavendish do anything wrong?
Again, it's a TEAM sport.
They should set an example to contain this dangerous behaviour in the sprint. imho
Correction, it's a TEAM INDIVIDUAL sport.
So? Renshaw cut off Cav's competitors. How about Cancellara holding onto Contador's saddle next time Schleck is attacking? I can see it now. Wouldn't be Schleck's fault would it? |

Renshaw certain to be relegated to last place but also likely to be thrown off the race says TDF director J-F Pescheux

The Norwegians are whinging about Cav, what a surprise.
1. The norwegians aren't whining about Cav for Thor's sake. That would be riddiculous since Petacchi would have an even bigger lead in the green.
2. Also most norwegians have understood that Thor isn't a elite sprinter by now, he's too far behind when the sprint starts.
3. I'm norwegian and I don't believe that Thor will get another stage win so stop putting us in the same boat. I also don't believe Renshaw or Cav should be punished.
4. Also the amount of disrespect, bordering on hatred towards Thor in here is sad to see. I'm no fanboy of anyone so if anyone could give me the reasons why Thor is so much worse than anyone else in the peloton I'll understand it. |

Yeah that Renshaw's move across to block Tyler was dangerous and he'll get DQ. I woudn't blame Cav for that he did brilliantly to win this stage he started his sprint in exactly right time and HE won this stage.
Arashiro ahead of Hushovd made my day . Petacchi to win green at champs-elysees.
Julian Dean wasn't good boy either....

If its a team sport, as you claim, why was only Cavendish on the winners podium?

However... Renshaw does deserve a punishment.
I don't know, did he actually try to headbutt him? (I'm using text coverage, not TV.)
Renshaw almost had his head down Dean's shirt xD |

Why oh why did I decide to have Thor Hushovd on my DR Manager team? *sigh*
Anyway, good to see Petacchi back in green. |

Agreed.
Him and Dean should have both been DQed. In my humble, and honest opinion. |

haha go Renshaw. Dean was sitting there purely to niggle at Renshaw and disrupt his lead out. If it worked then Farrar may have won the stage, and yes Renshaw blocked Farrar, but probably was just extremely pissed off at Garmin for screwing up his lead out. Basically Garmin stirred this up on purpose so he should not be kicked out of the tour.
If someone keeps kicking your shins in a football game your going to Zidane them am i right? They don't deserve it but they are asking for it.
Anyway, it was great to see Chabal at the presentations . He made Andy look like a dwarf. |
