Top 10 by Guldhammer Maybe he can do something at the main stage, strange if he's the man I gotta trust :-p

Good effort by Croket getting 10 bonus seconds, so now he's only 10 seconds down in the GC. I'll be very happy if Gerrans or Bole get a few bonus seconds in stage 4 too, and hopefully they will be in the top after stage 5.

Fortune continues to favour the brave Arashiro. Its going to be a question of whether he can survive Willunga.
Big stage win for IKEA though, Flugal now has a big oppurtunity on stage 5 to put pressure on the sprinters I suspect. Will we see someone grab outright lead on stage 4.
Jamie Ball a little unlucky not to get any mountain points there. Nethertheless I am pleased he keeps going for the points. |

That stage was the one I had Steegmans down for having the best chance of winning.
Good result from Proni - and I guess with the hill coming up, he's going to become the team leader. Not what I envisaged. Bettini putting in another good performance too. |

No effort at all from Steegmans or Proni. Vespa management are not amused. |

Why would you expect Proni to do anything on that sort of stage?

First points! No train again (but I expected this) but good sprint from Casper. Good 4th place.

Well, as Steegmans didn't make any effort, I thought Proni might.
Seems like because Proni is ahead on GC, Steegmans decided to take the stage off and on his salary I'm going to be very hard on him. |

If he continues to do badly try and force him to sign a document that says he has to pay back his salary if he is caught doping
Can't wait for Old Wilungia. |

I like the sound of the idea behind that clause.
And me too, looking forward to Wilunga. |

Wow - just wow. The Japanese rocket is having an amazing race, though I would still say that the next stage is going to be decisive. So many really good hilly men...
Credit goes to the two young Aussies Matthews and Semple and also Hong Kong champ Kin-San Wu. Sacrificing themselves for the team leader.
Great stage for Yamaha also getting a second place there nice to see! |

All in the train were waiting, before making their move. And i guess by the time Van Heerden wanted to actually make a move, he was swamped

Willunga has been played and ought to be up sometime later, it was fairly chaotic
