Nothing against Zetterberg but I don't like him. Hes good but for some reason I don't like him.
Anyway keep up the story (if possible).
Just like I don't like Crosby or Ovechkin. The story should continue ... hopefully, unless any other major unexpect bugs show up. Worst case I saved the database on a different cpu with the game, but I think the date saved is after the 2nd stage of the Vuelta a Andalucia, which means I would have to delete photos and results of three races and redo them, which is not so bad. I will push on at all costs.
Mostly flat stage today and a long tour ahead we hope to get our up and coming superstar Richard Ackerman into the breakaway to help him earn needed experience, but also to take the presure off the rest of the team to bring the break back.
Ackerman did his job by finding the break, but so did everyone else and when the attacks stopped their was a group of 19 riders up front and peleton didn't like that at all.
And it was reeled in very fast and breaks continued to form as the stage continued but the peleton would not any combinations go.
So by the time the reached the only climb on the route there was a small group 30 seconds ahead, and I sent Deignan a radio message to beat them up the climb and get the 4 mountain points on top, because with the few climbs in the tour we could possible steal the KoM if we have a small gap being their is really only one mountain stage in the tour. Plus we could use the money at the top.
And Deignan easily beat them over the top and then jumped right back into the peleton.
Breaks continue to attack but under the 10km banner it was clear there would be a bunch sprint. Suddenly under the 5km banner their is fall.
Right in front of Philip Diegnan he had no where to go ...
Except DOWN! He was to get up fast if he wants to prevent a time gap and crush his hopes of winnning the tour.
He stubbles to his feet, but up front the sprint was on.
Then the gap, but is it big enough?
Nope! Deignan saves his time but comes in sore with minor cuts and bruises but should by able to continue in the tour, wearing the red KoM jersey and shirt makers quicky have to produce a logo for the jersey.

Interview - Philip Deignan
Q: Nasty spill, are you o.k. and what happened?
A: I'm fine, just a little sore but nothing pills can't fix. I couldn't really see anything in front of me and all of a sudden there was like a shift in the peleton and the next thing I know I'm going over the front wheel for the first time in my professional cycling career, surreal experience. But I did save my time and I have the KoM jersey so I can joke about this later.

Be careful, the UCI disapproves of such things. Make sure you use a good masking agent to get past the anti-doping controls

Well another flat stage with one climb, we hope to keep the peleton together up until the climb for Deignan to get some extra mountain points. Deignan looks a little tired after the last stage, but everything is patched up and should be able to finish the tour.
A few small breakaways tried to get away before the climb but the team put in a nice reel in, and set-up Deignan for the attack 2km from the top.
With no folllowers Deignan easily toke the 1st and the 6 points. And will still be wearing the KoM for the next stage.
After the climb more breaks, but none to be noted because they were all caught, leaving a bunch sprint.
With nothing to lose Peraud went for the sprint, and had a good position plus the fact their weren't many sprinters in the field.
And came in with a nice 6th place.

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: Another sprint placing, how are you keeping up?
A: Luck, I guess ... I pick my spots just at the right, who to follow and when to follow, I have a felling that I might win one of these this year.
Another flat stage, with a climb at the finish. So we are going to help bring any breakaways back before the climb and send Deignan up to get the points. And ride it out till the bunch sprint.
Christophe Anziani did most of the chasing from our team with Douglas Arnold stepping in from time to time. And they did their role well today setting up Deignan very nicely.
And easily takes control of the front and with no need to attack he rides on thru and takes his points, and all that was left was the finish.
But the peleton was not ready for the finish yet, as it slowed the pace down all the way to 38km/hour. And under the 20km banner Ackerman had enough of this and made the peleton pick up the speed himself ...
By an attack, and Ackerman was itching to show off his skills to the team.
And he still held the lead after passing 10km to go. But the very few sprinters in the field were lining-up for the bunch sprint and picked up the pace.
But was caught 5km later, by a surging 2-man train made by AG2R.
As Ackerman fell back into the peleton there was a fall in the back, but no major names went down, there arn't really any majors names in the field after thinking about.
But after the crash the peleton slowed down again, as it seemed there was almost one rider down for each team in this pile up crash, except us.
With the AG2R train getting away and now had a time gap, we had to force the peleton to again pick up the pace and this time we put out the KoM Jersey, Philip Deignan.
And yet again it worked. But only enough to get the time gap wiped out.
The AG2R Duo looked like they had this one in the bag, or would the sprinters sparked by Deignan fight back?
And at the finish ...
One of the AG2R riders gave himself up for the good of the team, and gave one heck of a lead out for Mandri and AG2R gets the win.
UGH, PCM is so unstable. Crashed before I could export, so I just toke pics from the Lastest Results Section so I can only post the top 12 for time.

Interview - Richard Ackerman
Q: Well first time we real got to see your skills, coming onto the curcuit you were scouted as a future great stage racer. What are your goals for this season, and also for your career?
A: This season I hope to help fit in with this new team and on the way win 2 or 3 races later in the season. And for my career as a whole I hope to be able to experience each of the Grand Tours, and win a stage in each. I'm allowed to dream big right.
Note - The next report well be Vuelta a la Region de Murcia Stage 1, because it overlaps the Le Tour de Langkawi.
Nice flat stage to start off the tour, with really our only sprinter on the team, Talansky, should be looking at the sprint at the finish. We hope to and more sprinters for next year roster as it is one of our major weakness.
Nice slow start for today, for pretty much the whole day, a couple of riders got out into the break, but were reeled back with 15km to go. And under the 10km banner the pace picked up for the sprint which caught a couple of riders offguard, and was followed by a chain reaction and finally they all went down. None of our riders fell, and really none to be noted as major threats, just check for the people that lost time.
And the sprint trains started to form, and Lovkvist noticed that Talansky was having problems finding a train, and he stepped in to help and showed off his strong flat skills. And showed great leadership.
And all of a sudden he had Talansky up in front ...
What a lead-out ... could Talansky finish it off with a strong sprint ...
Nope Talansky just didn't have the form today, and stubbles to a 10th place.
You can tell Lovkvist is steaming hot at Talansky for a poor sprint, so I have to step-in and break them up. Eventually Lovkvist calms down and apologizes to Talansky. But you know this fued isn't over, but for the sake of the team I hope it ends fast.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Great lead-out, poor sprint any thoughts?
A: Not to blow-up on Talansky, but after the lead-out I gave him he should have at least got a top 3. I know he is only 21 or so, but we need him to step-up for the good of the team. Don't be expecting another lead-out from me to Talansky in the near future, I got my own things to worry about, ... like winning.
With Deignan safe in the KoM Jersey there was no need to put him out in the break, plus with a hard mountain stage tomarrow. And with no sprinters on our squad, we hopefully can maintain in the main group without crashing.
Small report for today's stage due to lack of interesting events, few breaks got away but were pulled back and by the last 20km when the last breakaway rider was reeled in the pace was crazy fast and continued all the way to finish, dropping riders left and right in the main group, causing tons of small gaps on the road, and by the time we got to 5km to go, all we had left in the front group was Peraud and Deignan, with 40 other riders.
At 1km the sprint was on but both Peraud and Deignan had no interest and their sites were set on tomarrow's stage.
The strongest 42 riders were pulled ahead of the group today, with is an advantage for Deignan who now only was 40 riders in the back of his mind tomarrow.

Interview - Philip Deignan
Q: What can we expect on the next stage?
A: The way the other riders are shaking out, I would say a top 3 is not out of the question, but I could handle a top 10.
Note - Sorry that havn't been posting alot, I was really busy this past week, but this week looks free so I should be able to pick-up the pace.
Nice little climb before the finish, we hope to get Daniel Martin some more climbing experience, and then just wait for the bunch sprint finish.
Today's early breakaway,
Didn't come to much but did give Martin a good challenge at the top of the mountain ...
And at the top ...
But came a bit short in a strong climb, and toke 3rd.
With 10km to go, the sprint trains started to form, and Lovkvist was no where to be seen at the front, but everyone figured that, and Talansky was left to do his own sprint.
And with 1km to go Talansky shows the same disappointment as stage 1,
And continues to fall back, being passed by almost everybody. And all the team car can hear in the radio is the sound of Lovkvist laughing.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Just spoke with Manager, and he was upset with at you for the way you acted at the end of the stage, any comments?
A: He can be mad at me all that he wants, but he knows that I'm the best rider on the team, and I'm going to prove it in the time trial in stage 3. And after I win the tour the eyes will be off me, and on the bad performences of Talansky, you watch.
Well today is for all the marbles, the tour is going to be dicide today, unless any crashes happen in the following to flat stages, or tire problems. Deignan is pumped, this is why he came to this new team, to make I new image for himself, and not to be over shadowed. So lets get to it.
Today's early break taking all the sprint check points and were still pushing full ahead at the bottom of the climb.
So we step-up our chase, and slow and stead they gap was decreasing.
Until there were three strong breakers up front.
And the others were reeled in with 20km to go.
Deignan was looking good, and was prepared to counter from any of the favorites, and being classified as an outsider Deignan was ready to show the world his climbing ability.
The first attack was sent, but Deignan didn't bit as he was quickly reeled back in. Deignan was not falling for any bates by other teams, he was waiting for the favorites.
And then they went with 10km from the finish,
Deignan was right on their wheels, and soon after it was just the four of them at the head of the pack.
And with 5km to go they were joined by another rider, but he looked sore after even making it up to the group.
Now it was time of the position game, and who could time the right counter.
Deignan had the energy, but not the full mental game down, as he let one last attack 2km from the finish, but died out after half a km. And just could keep up with the other three favorites, he had given all he had - and will be able to keep his KoM Jersey by 1 point for his efforts. After a 4th Place.
Note - Stage went really choppy on my computer so their was a lot of lag, could not get the best pictures, thats why I toke a lot. And when I got the results the game crashed before I could export, which I expect since it was so choppy during the game, so all I can do is post the top 12.

Interview - Philip Deignan
Q: Great ride, 4th Place isn't bad at all, since this tour is pretty much over, how do plan on carrying this result over into future races this year?
A: Well, I learned a lot today, knowing that I can't counter every attackwas probably the biggest lession I would say showed off today, hopefully I can carry that over for the rest of my career.
No team meeting today as this stage is for the individuals. Lovkvist promised a win today in his interview yesturday, lets see if he can stick to his word. And the day is about to being his name is flashed across as the top favorite for the time trial.
Spoiler
Note - No Race Pics - I see no need for the them in TTT or ITT plus the fact I screwed up the equipment for them in my cpu/db so my riders come out with no wheels or helmets. But I do the race like normal so I'm still not simulating them just for your information.

Interview- Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Amazing win, just out doing the competition, so well I guess you just got to hold on to it make full use for your promise to get the media off you and on Talansky. And with a medium mountain stage tomarrow, what are our plans to keep yellow?
A: Counter anything that could take yellow away from me, its that easy. I try not to make it more difficult than it is. One race at a time.
I have called this meeting to address the Pending Wildcard for the Milano-Sanremo 2010. We have finally received word from the race organizors, and the following email was sent out to our team today ...
We are upset that our request was declined but being a very small team, we know have to focus on growing and working towards the UCI Pro Tour. Thanks for you time,
After the hard mountain stage behind us, today looked like a good day for the breakaway to finally get away. Our riders were beat as well, and none of them could get into the break. And the break was formed their was no riders within time distance to be a threat , so we didn't bother to chase either.
And heading into the last 10km the main group had no way of catching them. They had a 5 minute gap!
Now the strong breakers knew a stage win was up for graps and they started to attack each other.
Then the main group ...

Interview - Manager Mresuperstar
Q: Why the no decision to put a rider the breakaway?
A: I wanted to, but with such a young group of riders and being early in the season they just didn't have the energy or passion. All that matters now is that Deignan has a top 5 GC placing without any crashes tomarrow. We are on the rise.
After the last stage ITT Lovkvist looks in top form heading into today's mountain stage, and as a result is the top favorite. Deignan also comes in as a Outsider. Lovkvist and Deignan will try and work together to keep the GC lead for Lovkvist.
Many early breakaways try and get away, and most do. So we have to step in before the hit the final climb that could take a win away for Deignan or Lovkvist.
The helpers do there job today and bring all the breaks back except the first one, which had a 1 minute 30 second lead before hitting the second to last mountain point banner. And then there was an attack ...
2nd and 3rd Place riders went for it, but Lovkvist didn't bit, nor did Deignan. It was to far of a distance to reach the top at full speed. So they waited. About 7km from the top Deignan and Lovkvist went on the chase.
Lovkvist was riping up the road, and crusing up the slopes. Deignan couldn't even keep pace after the second km after they had attacked. Lovkvist was on a mission.
And at the top there was only one man between him and a 1st place.
But he wasn't going to give up that easy to Lovkvist as he want the the GC for himself, being only 31 seconds behind.
And coming down to the finish Lovkvist was still in the same spot as he start to desend. And Martin was holding a nice top 10.
Lovkvist couldn't catch him, but didn't lose the GC.
Couldn't Export Again - My Game is so screwed up.
