Are you going to use 09 this time?Smile
If not, I think you should wait for the 2010DB for pcm08Wink

valverde321
I made my own 2010 db from scratch. Well I started off with Camerluca Sp v1.5 but then changed all the jerseys riders and team names. It took me 3 hours. Anyway the 2010 db I'm helping on it and the beta will be out soon but the full V1 might not be out for another month.
BTW if you notice a wrong jersey for one of the teams could you let me know. Thanks

Cyclingnews.com:
_________________________________________________________
Today we have found out that Patrick Wersley the former manager of FDJ in 08 and guy that had just told the media he was back into cycling has apparently signed a 1 year contract as Directeur Sportif with one of the Pro tour Cycling teams. Our guess is Quickstep but he was rumored to sign with ISd or Milram so will have to wait and see.
_________________________________________________________

Was this really true. It could be one of those crazy stories that Cyclingnews has had a lot of lately. For all I know it could be complete rubbish. Anyway see you soon.

Quick Step[img-r]https://image3.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/200px-QSI-logo.png[/img-r]
Today we can announce that a former directeur has signed with us. His name is Patrick Wersley.
Hello today I will be announmcing some of the news with Quickstep and it's team.

Here is the team:
img179.imageshack.us/img179/571/qstteamstats1.jpgimg248.imageshack.us/img248/4386/qstteamstats2.jpg

Here are our team leaders in skill and in leadership:
img176.imageshack.us/img176/558/qstboonenstats.jpg
Tom Boonen is a very gifted rider. He has won the world Championships before so you know he's good. His best categories of racing is when he's racing on cobbles or on sprint finishes. He is one of the best sprinters in the world but recently seems to have lost his touch. This year we hope to bring him back to his "best years of cycling" form and hopefully get many wins for Quickstep this year.

img39.imageshack.us/img39/9723/qstdevolderstats.jpg
Stijn Devolder. He is quite a strong rider. He knows what it's like to feel pain. He is one of the best cobbles riders in the world and a race like Ronde van vlaanderen suits him perfectly. It's got hills and cobbles which happen to be Stijn's 2 best categories. We hope that he can bring us many wins this year. I forgot to mention that he has a very good time trial. We beleive that he could be our main GC man but we'll have to wait and see.

Transfers:
Jerome Pineau left Quickstep to make room for:

img192.imageshack.us/img192/3672/qstkesslerstats.jpg
img175.imageshack.us/img175/3008/qstschumacherstats.jpg
img256.imageshack.us/img256/4994/qststybarstats.jpg

We feel that this helps our team out because now we have 3 possible GC men along with many classics riders. And now I think we have to be considered in every Classic that the team participates in. Stybar is one of my favourite riders so I thought we could contract him. I think he can turn out to be a great Road racer as long as he focuses on it. We will let him leave for the cyclocross season if he wishes but for now he's with us. Our team did not address our main needs for a transfer and that is having a main GC rider like Contador who was rumored to be on his way here in the offseason but turned out he's staying with Astana for now.

img338.imageshack.us/img338/4228/qstteamgoals2010.jpg
These are the teams goals. We hope to get every one of these goals and we also plan on having a great year.

Edit: Sorry I know Schumacher isn't 26 something went wrong.

Cancer Council Classic
It's our 1st race of the year and we hope to get some of our irders in shape for the TDU. It's hot like always here and our riders are very excited for the 1st race of the year.

img98.imageshack.us/img98/3676/cancercataldo.jpg
Cataldo tried his best to get in the break (or show of this fantastic jersey to the world) but that didn't go to well. But the part about the jersey did go well.

The race went fast and riders were attacking continuously thru the stage. No one could get more than a minute though and with 10 km to go the trains started forming.

img179.imageshack.us/img179/2357/cancertrains.jpg
Boonen was perfectly situated for this one today!

img33.imageshack.us/img33/4624/cancerwinner.jpg
But in the end he couldn't get around the slower riders and when the riders got around the final corner he knew the victory was gone and he would have to fight for a top 5. This is Madsen winning! He had a great leadout by his teammate Hopberg.

All in all a good day considering it was our first but we hope for better results in Australia in 3 days time. (Pcm Time probably sooner in our timeSmile)

Startlist for Santos Tour Down Under
I would say this is a typical lineup. Youv'e got Greipel and Pozzato. And Cooke and O Grady. There's Rojas but no LL Sanchez. Looks to be a strong lineup but we hope to do well.

Stage 1 Tour Down Under

This is the opening stage so today our plan is to get a feel for the other teams and for the other favourites. Today would be a good day to win in the sprint too. Boonen is the favourite for today so maybe we'll see some early season magic!
img697.imageshack.us/img697/4904/tdu1profile.jpg

img691.imageshack.us/img691/6104/tdu1break.jpg
.This was the break that lasted a whole of 20km's. Stybar got in there and he's begining to get a hang of the road cycling and the riders riding very close together in the peloton

img690.imageshack.us/img690/9300/tdu1kessler.jpg
One of our goals is to win the KOM classification and Kessler is our main man for that job. He went on an attack looking for some points today. He got 2 points for us today tied for the lead.

img229.imageshack.us/img229/6513/tdu1train.jpg
Ten kilometres to go and a very large train containing every big name sprinter in this race.

img684.imageshack.us/img684/3570/tdu1final.jpg
The sprint opens up and Pozzato has a lead but Greipel is coming fast from the outside. One of these 2 will win pending a crash but Boonen not in a bad position for 3rd either.
img44.imageshack.us/img44/9656/tdu1final2.jpg
This sideshot shows the lead that "Pipo's" got and its starting to get even bigger.

img202.imageshack.us/img202/6261/tdu1winner.jpg
And Fillipo Pozzato Wins Stage One! He dominated the sprint today. Boonen finishes 3rd. Not bad for him especially being 2nd race of the year.

Stage 3 Tour Down Under
img200.imageshack.us/img200/3926/tdu3profile.jpg
Todays stage looks good for us. Greipel is the main favourite again but Boonen has been close and he seems to be getting stronger everyday.

img683.imageshack.us/img683/2022/tdu3break.jpg
Todays BOTD. It included Kessler who was sent off t oget as many KOM points as he could. Daniel Oss was there for Liquigas too.

img708.imageshack.us/img708/8310/tdu3catch.jpg
Heres the catch of the last man in front. Kessler. He had a good day and will lead the KOM classification tommorow. After the catch there was 16 km's to go so the sprinters worked their way towards the front. The lead-out men also went to the front to work for their teams sprinter.

img14.imageshack.us/img14/6782/tdu3sprint.jpg
The sprint began. Boonen,Greipel and Pozzato were the only onesthat had a shot today. Pozzato was hard to pass and Greipel was having trouble passing him aswell. We went into the final km and it was neck and neck. Then something happened Boonen showed us another gear that he had not showed us all year. But he was slightly behind did he have enough for the win............

img260.imageshack.us/img260/10/tdu3winner.jpg

........yes he did. This was a great day for us and for Boonen. Lets hope we get more of the same in the last few stages. Some more great news today as Kessler got exactly 8 KOM points today to take a massive lead.

Stage 4 Tour Down Under
img534.imageshack.us/img534/7504/tdu4profile.jpg
Today was a boring stage. The only thing that made it interesting to me was that I put in some new helmets and Quickstep now rides with the 2010 Eddy Merckkx Frame. Astana and Caisse have new helmets If Ur wondering.

Today we start off at the final 10km's. Boonen has got a great spot right behing Rojas of Caisse. We'll be looking for a win with this great position.

With the line in sights it's anyone's sprint. It's between Dean, Rojas and Boonen but Boonen might have more speed going up the hill to the finish line.

Nooo. Boonen can't make the pass on the line and has to settle for 2nd behind Dean.
