Good performance with Cardoso,finishing as 4th behind Hushovd,Boonen and `Pippo´is great.You even could beat Boasson Hagen,McEwen and Renshaw.Just go on like this,I like it very much!! |

Stage 2.
The stage starts with some attacks,the peloton raises the pace and some riders who were on peloton tail fall down,just before first climb,one of them is the leader,Hushovd,fans were schocked...
At the front,E1 reach the first KOM sprint with Hermans(RSH) in 1st,Mori(LAM) in 2nd and Scheirlinckx(OLO) 3rd...
Cérvelo team reacted quick and Algarve leader joins peloton again,but a big effort was needed...
2nd KOM sprint,Augé(COF) is first,Da Pena(XAC)2nd and Hermans(RSH) 3rd...
Time gaps at this point of the stage..
We reach the first int.sprint with Scheirlinckx(OLO)in 1st,Hermans(RSH)2nd and Augé(COF) 3rd..
3rd KOM sprint,Hermans(RSH) 1st,Augé(COF)2nd and Scheirlinckx(OLO) 3rd
..behind, the peloton is reducing the gap...
Meanwhile,E1 reaches the 2nd and last int.sprint of the day,Hermans is the fastest,Scheirlinckx is 2nd and Mori 3rd...
..E1 will be catched by peloton with 13km to finish..
3kms to the finish,Cardoso is on Pozzato´s wheel,Renshaw,Boonen,Bos behind Cardoso,the leader is in middle of peloton,no more legs after the effort to catch peloton...
...and sprint starts...
..entering last km..
...Pozzato in front,Cardoso,Boonen...
..and Pozzato takes 2nd stage,Cardoso is 2nd and Boonen 3rd...

Thanks..that just what i want,today´s stage i thought Cardoso could do it but had not enought end-speed to pass Pozzato..next stage it´s hard,just hope that peloton doesn´t make too many high pace.

Stage 3.
As always,the stage started with a breakaway,10 riders..
1st int.sprint,Le Mével(FDJ) is 1st,De La Fuente(AST)2nd and Gavazzi(LAM)3rd.
1st KOM sprint,De La Fuente is 1st,Pauriol(COF)2nd and Aerts(OLO) 3rd..
E1 adventure goes on and on the 2nd int.sprint is Pauriol in 1st,Garcia(XAC)2nd,De La Fuente 3rd...
..Time gaps at this point of the stage..
..E1 reaches 2nd KOM with De La Fuente in 1st,Moreno(AND)2nd and Van Garderen(THR) 3rd..
3rd KOM sprint again De La Fuente in 1st,Martin(GAR)2nd and Aerts 3rd..
Last KOM sprint,De La Fuente takes 1st,Moreno 2nd and Aerts 3rd..
..We reach the 20km banner with only 2 riders in E1..
This mini peloton catch E1 with 11,5km to the finish...we have 4 riders here but they are suffering..
..finish ahead,the favourites attack,Sánchez in front,Fédrigo,Cancellara,Pozzato,Chavanel,Devolder,Hagen,we can´t do anything..
..and Sánchez is the strongest today,Fédrigo is 2nd and Navarro 3rd..
..we don´t have any chance to win...

Thanks...but the job wasn´t so nice,(if you mean the stage final),we had no chance against these top riders,our riders are just to weak,....
Next stage is ITT,i am already affraid from the result...

Stage 4.
For today´s stage we had big hopes in Herrero,our best TT rider.He is in 36th place in GC with 3´44" from leader...
..Cancellara is in 10th position with + 1´16" and it´s no surprise to anyone as he sets stage new best time...
..but not enought to take yellow from this man,L.L.Sánchez,who finishes in 2nd....
Our rider Herrero could have done better but he wasn´t in best shape...he finishes in 26th position and is now 28th in GC.

Last stage in Algarve and our team still looks to win here with Cardoso...
..the stage starts with a breakaway and Footon decide to not send any ryder with it.E1 reaches the tallest point of the stage and this man,B.Hermans(RSH)takes the points that he needs to finish the volta as KOM.On this big descent,our 2 leaders Herrero and Eibegger crash but they managed to finish.
Peloton catches E1 with 15km to finish,no more attacks hapens and we reach the final sprint with Cardoso well posicioned..
Cardoso gains more speed...
..but not enought to beat T.Boonen(QST) who takes 1st,S.O´Grady(PHA) is 2nd...
..and Cardoso(FOT) takes 3rd,good sprint from our champion.

Next is Vuelta a Andalucia.

We are in Spain now,ready for Andalucia and we want to do better as we did in Portugal,so let´s hope we have a little more luck and legs.First stage is a ITT with 9km,our leader will be A.Durán.
This is the team for this race:
M.Brändle is one of our 2 main favourites for this stage...
..the other is our leader A.Durán.
At the final,Durán manages a 6th place,good stage from him,and Brändle is 13th with +15sec.

Our youth department told us that 2 young talents are making some good results and so we are watching them,they are:
