Portugal was extremely disappointing, but I don't complain about that
After Norway scored the goal, Portugal had maybe 1 clear chance, nothing more, they simply stopped producing anything. Norway also got more aggressive, and the runs from the midfielders of Portugal were neutralized, and then Portugal had close to nothing to build their attacks on.
Anyway, pretty surprising result, and a great result!
This can`t be true. Mertesacker injured after 7 minutes yesterday. He has a orbital fracture after a bad ellbow check (without given a card, as the weak referee didn`t give a single one after a few bad fouls) Now he will miss at least 4 weeks ;(
On the weekend Bayern München will come to us and both central defense players are injured for at least the next 4 weeks now... Time for Mikael Silvestre that shows that he is still a good player
This was Azerbaijan`s most dangerous scene yesterday. Except of one 30m shot this was also the only chance. Edited by roturn on 08-09-2010 12:13
And Queiroz is out. Portugal's new coach is.....Mourinho.

I drove by the stadium 15 mins ago. If the weather stays as is, the only way the game is happening is with the players on Caravelas and Viking Longboats.
It's literally the first day this year where I haven't seen the sun. Not even its silhouette.
