STAGE 5 : SNAPPER POINT - WILLUNGA

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-8.jpg
After another great result by Renshaw yesterday we are expecting a hard stage today. If Renshaw will come over this hill isn´t sure up to this. But riders like Cancellara,Davis,Ciolek and Pozzato should be the favorites for today´s stage

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-7.jpg
After the last hills Renshaw,Goss and Bak weren´t able to sprint for the stage win.But all the favorites I mentioned before were still there!

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3-7.jpg
The sprint begins and Elmiger was far in front.Ciolek,Farrar and Pozzato were still waiting for the best moment

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4-7.jpg
But then yesterday´s stage winner Pozzato makes his move. This seems so powerful...

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/5-7.jpg
Geslin has no chance against Pozzato

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/6-7.jpg
And so the Italian gets his second stage win in a row.Geslin becomes second in front of...

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/7-6.jpg
Pietropolli, who can beat Cancellara in a close sprint finish

Sadly your riders are not the best ones for this kind of stage...and so you loose your chances to make something good at the end.
Maybe you do that already but i let you know anyway:try to pic one or two riders (for races)that can provide a GC win.I always look first all the stages and choose one or two riders that can win GC or can achieve a good position at the end.Maybe you should try this if you never did......yes i know this is still the beginning. Smileyes you´re right baia but our team wasn´t really good in form so like you´ve already said it´s only the beginning.
But in the next races we will do it like you saidSmile

LAST STAGE : ADELAIDE CITY COUNCIL CIRCUIT

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-6.jpg
The last stage is a circuit in Adelaide!Pozzato and Boonen are in front in the overall and this stage will bring the decision because once more we´re expecting a mass sprint where also Mark Renshaw wants to show his strength

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-5.jpg
Renshaw is in a great position while the decision about the overall is already dropped because Tom Boonen is in the last part of the pack.Pozzato is also in a good position there

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3-3.jpg
The sprint begins and Mark makes his move!He seems really strong today but on the right side Ciolek and Van Avermaet come really fast, too

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4-3.jpg
Last metres and Ciolek fights against Van Avermaet!Hutarovich is third at the moment in front of Pozzato and Renshaw

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/5-2.jpg
Ciolek takes the stage in front of Van Avermaet and Hutarovich.Renshaw becomes 5th behind Pozzato.Still good result for our team

Well,at the end the time gap from Lars Bak to winner isn´t that much,so it was a positive result...and good 5th place from Mark.Wish you luck for Marseille.

GRAND PRIX LA MARSEILLAISE

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/14-2.jpg

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-9.jpg
There was a big breakaway today but no dangerous rider was there

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-8.jpg
On the downhill with 20 km to go Plaza makes his move and it was a big surprise for Valverde,Uran and Co.Only Peter Velits could follow him

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3-6.jpg
But the pack reacts and Velits was brought back really fast

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4-6.jpg
But on the last ascent of today´s race he attacks again and this time it seems better

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/5-5.jpg
On the last downhill he could reach Joly and Plaza

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/6-3.jpg
Kiserlovski was the first chaser of the leading group

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/7-2.jpg
And Valverde and the big favorites for the win today were still in the pack maybe their hopes was a mass sprint?

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/8-3.jpg
Last kilometre for Velits,Joly and Plaza.Velits is the best sprinter there and he takes the backwheel of Joly because Plaza seems really tired after a long solo ride

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/9-4.jpg
The sprint begins and Velits is still in Joly´s slipstream.Plaza has no chance to win that´s for sure!!

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/10-2.jpg
And this is a great acceleration by Velits!!His move is fantastic in the end

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/11-2.jpg
This is an amazing result for us.Peter Velits wins in front of...

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/12-2.jpg
.....Joly and Plaza

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/13-2.jpg
Valverde comes with the pack
