Astana and Saxo Bank have some really weak teams there! I think you have one of the strongest team along with Liquigas and Caisse!

I saw in other DB's that Carrara was riding some nice stages but not a real GC contender. But i don't really know his stats, same counts for Rasmussen!

Rasmussen has inly 74 in Mo, so he isn't contender at all. Niemeic may be better in GC.
I think that to be in top-10 isn't much hard goal. I am dreaming about top-3. But, of course, it will depend on position of Scarpa after first mountain stage

Prologue
It was sunny today when we came to start place. I was nervous and when I tried to click my pedal, I did it just in third time. The stage was very short.
To be honest, there isn't anything to report. I don't like short flat time trials, I don't like time trials at all, but I can do good results in hilly, mountain TT's, as I am good climber. But I like to see my opponents when I ride my bike, that way I can know where I need to attack and where I can have some rest. When I am on my TT bike - I don't feel the race.
I started 24th, so when future winner just started I already had a shower in our bus and watched that on TV. Who is the winner? Of course, it is Larsson.
I finished only 89th with 49 seconds back. I think it's quite good for me and my GC plans. Scarponi finished 29th, with 35 seconds gap to winner.

Second stage. Amsterdam - Utrecht
It was a flat stage. I have nothing else to say. Do you know how flat stages going? Yes, it is breakaway being made, then peloton starting to chase it, catches it, and sprinters making their job.
This time it was like this. Moreover, the biggest favorite, Italian Champion, Pipo Pozzatto had won today. Our sprinter, Ginanni, finished 6th, which is very good result.

Third stage. Amsterdam - Middelburg
Very boring stage. Our goal today was to be in front of peloton, to keep our bones safe. The stage decided in sprint. Our main sprinter, Ginanni, took place on previous stage winner, Pozzatto, but he wasn't good today.
Lampre's universal Grega Bole took advantage of his position and had won the stage with very small gap to another two contenders. Ginanni again made it top-10.

Fourth stage. Savigliano
After rest day, when we at last came to Italy, we have to start in team time trial. To be honest, I expected that we will loose around one minute and didn't plan anything to this race.
Our start position was in middle on start field, so we did know some results. First team to set good time was... Colnago - CSF Inox! They were really fast and in first intermediate we loosed them around 30 seconds.
But we had some tactical decision. We started not too fast, but after half of the stage we increased our speed to maximum. Not everybody could do that and very soon only five riders remained in our group. I wasn't ready to such fast pace too and I made a huge work just to stay with others, as time is calculating on fifth man result. That's why our last few kilometers weren't as fast as in a middle of the race, but when we crossed finish line, we have seen "No1. -1'13" on clocks.
Of course, it wasn't time to celebrate, as main contenders were after us. Katyusha finished. +54. We were fascinated. After that it was Liquigas. +1'41. Wow! Main contender, Pellizzotti, lost almost 2 minutes!
Radioshack, the team of Yaroslav Popovych. They are very good time trialists. But lost 37 seconds to us. That was very significant for us, we realized that we won't loose too much and will remain in group of main GC contenders.
After americans there were only two teams that could win a stage. Caisse d'Epargne. It was the time that I won't forget. The clock counted seconds to their finish and at the same time it counted a gap between us and them. -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1... and they finished. They lost only 1 second to us!
And, you may know, which team was the most strong when they all finished? Columbia? No, they finished 23 second behind us, in spite of they had Pinotti, Rabon, Martin and so on.
It was us! We had won Team Time Trial stage! Could you believe in it? Yes, me too! It was fantastic feelings! Awesome! We made everything to that result, we pushed hard as it was main verification for us - will we be able to fight to victory or not. And we passed that trial very well. For now Scarponi is one of the best placed favorites in GC.
