Cunego? I was more disgusted by Basso's lack of effort Bailing so soon was a feeble excuse!

He grazed his knee early on when he fell off. Still got up front and put in a few turns though. |

A few turns? All I saw of him was when he climbed of his bike at the end of the race Nocentini though, on the other hand, was a stallion of magnificant proportions.

All in all, a bad WC for me... two second places...
Continue with Emillia, please! |

So, do I get bonus points for the worlds?
3 Golds, 1 Silver and a top 10 is a pretty good haul for a continental team.
Also Spain is clearly the best nation in the cycling world.
Awesome
Now I just need Valverde to stay for next year.
Great world champs for you and spain,
and I do agree spain is completely dominant

Nice exciting race. Would have liked more riders in the mix at the end, but it was still interesting.
Also, can we bet the over/under on Henao Montoya's GT wins in his career. I'd take the over. |

Looking at past results I have discovered that Santander is the most successful team ever as such I expect every one to bow down to me. I am clearly awesome, definitely, just ignore my CT ranking.

Technically speaking, having 2 riders in the TTT win should only count as 2/9 of a Gold medal

Nah, can you imagine the ceremony where they just gave everybody 1/9th of a medal, it just doesn't work. They definately got one each.

Anyway, in real life Chris Hoy won 3 gold medals not a 2 1/3 medals

True, but the Team Sprint was counted as 1 gold medal for the team - not 3

Fine, be that way, 2 Golds and a Silver is probably still a record so it doesn't really matter.

Kinda dissapointed that nor Contador or Samuel Sanchez was able to break into the top 10. On the other hand they did do an amazing job to give Valverde the win.
