Hopefully we will be able to keep those places after the 'queen' stage as well and maybe in the next sprint it will Swift letting Vigano win

The third stage in France it's the queen one with some of the longest and steepest climbs in the Tour. The main favorite seems to be Joly, but hopefully our team leader, Pauwels will be able to put in a strong ride in order to stop Joly
Calzati was involved in one of the early breakaways but after passing first the top of the first climb of the day, he crashed on the downhill. He was then caught and left behind by the pack even though he didn't have any kind of injury. Sylvain was pretty much the only reason way the breakaway existed until then so after his crash the other escapes were all brought back in the pack
No one else was able to get away from the pack after that until the final climb of the day. The riders in the pack fight for the KoM points and it Zaballa who is going to take the blue jersey at the end of the day from Portal. 20 kilometers before the finish on the final ascent of the day a lot of riders tried to get away but only a few of them had the legs to do so. Pauwels was of course one of them
Ten kilometers later we had a group of riders in front. One of them was Pauwels, while the other 3 were Vermeltfoort, Petrov and Murn
A few meters before the last five kilometers banner, Joly and Lhotellerie joined them from one of the chasing groups. This means that we are going to have a sprint in six for the stage win, which is not really a great news for Pauwels since all the others are pretty good sprinters
Pauwels managed to get an advantage by an attack inside the last 2 kilometers which let him lead for an while in the final kilometer, but 500 meters before the finish he was caught by Vermeltfroot, Murn and Joly, who were clearly faster than him
Vermeltfroot takes the stage win in front of Joly and Murn, while Pauwels took only the 5th spot, Lhotellerie also overtaking him the last meters. The Dutch rider is also the new leader of the race as the pack, with Swift and Vigano, came almost 2 minutes behind him

After a nice result from Pauwels in the queen stage of the race we are back for a more flat stage which should end in a mass sprint. Yesterday, by winning the stage, Vermeltfroot became the main favorite to win this year's Etoile de Besseges but he will have to really careful in the last 2 stages of the race
Inside the last 5 kilometers of the stage, Vanspeybroeck was the only escape still left from a breakaway of 3 riders. He attacked from the breakaway group with 20 kilometers before the finish and entered the last 5 with an advantage of more than one minute over the pack
Today's finish is way more flat that the one from the second stage which means that for today's sprint we are back to the 4 riders train, with Hayman, Downing, Vigano and Swift
Hayman and Downing once again did an amazing job to put Vigano and Swift in front of the pack, but it looks like today they are going to fight only for the second place, as Vanspeybroeck is having a great day
In the last corner of the stage, Vigano is leading the pack, followed by Swift, Siedler, Vermeltfroot and Downing, but Vanspeybroeck is too far away to be caught now
Vanspeybroeck wins the stage after a solo ride for the last 20 kilometers. Behind him, Vermeltfroot won the sprint for the second place, in front of Casper and Vigano, which means that he extends his lead in both overall and point rankings
Stage
1. | Pieter Vanspeybroeck | Topsport Vlaanderen - Mercator | 3h48'46 | 2. | Coen Vermeltfoort | Rabobank CT | s.t. | 3. | Jimmy Casper | Saur - Sojasun | s.t. | 4. | Davide Viganò | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 5. | Sebastian Siedler | Vorarlberg - Corratec | s.t. | 6. | Krzysztof Jezowski | CCC Polsat Polkowice | s.t. | 7. | Ben Swift | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 8. | Russell Downing | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 9. | Bert Scheirlinckx | Landbouwkrediet | s.t. | 10. | Frédéric Amorison | Landbouwkrediet | s.t. | 11. | Lilian Jégou | Bretagne - Schuller | s.t. | 12. | Matthew Hayman | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 13. | Eric Baumann | Team NetApp | s.t. | 14. | Boy Van Poppel | Rabobank CT | s.t. | 15. | Fabien Bacquet | Big Mat - Auber 93 | s.t. |

yeah Swift has some problems with the acceleration. In the last stage, probably, he will be leading - out Vigano not the other way around

As usually the Tour of Qatar starts with a Team Time - Trial in Doha. The main favorites on paper to take the win today are Columbia
Wiggins, Arvesen, Hagen, Flecha and Cummings lead Sky today to an amazing result beating Columbia with 2 seconds and winning the stage for less than a second in front of Topsport Vlaanderen. Stannard was the first rider to pass the finish line so we will wear the leader's jersey tomorrow.
Results
1 | Sky Professional Cycling Team | 13'53 | 2 | Topsport Vlaanderen - Mercator | s.t. | 3 | Rabobank | + 2 | 4 | Team HTC - Columbia | s.t. | 5 | Team Katusha | + 14 | 6 | Omega Pharma - Lotto | s.t. | 7 | Team RadioShack | + 22 | 8 | Liquigas - Doimo | + 27 | 9 | Team Milram | s.t. | 10 | BMC Racing Team | + 28 | 11 | Team Saxo Bank | s.t. | 12 | Garmin - Transitions | + 37 | 13 | Quick·Step | + 41 | 14 | Skil - Shimano | s.t. | 15 | AG2R La Mondiale | + 1'00 | 16 | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | 17 | Footon - Servetto | + 1'11 | 18 | Lampre - Farnese Vini | + 1'20 | 19 | Ceramica Flaminia | + 1'21 | 20 | Saur - Sojasun | + 6'25 |
P.S. I simulated the stage as I really don't like the TTTs in PCM.

yeah but I think that the simulation made them have such a good time since their best time - trialist is Vandewalle with 71TT

And I just wanted to say that I've decided to resize my screenshots, to make them look better, after I saw you're amazing ones from the Discovery story
