Agreed, the final was awesome, until the Korean took out his team mate to miss out on 2nd and 3rd

im also just a little bit scared to watch Luge now even though repairs have been done to the track. Now hopefully Moguls will give canada's first Gold medal with either Jen Heil or Alex Bilodou (it's spelt something like that)

Sven Kramer!!! wins his first gold medal on the 5000 meters ice speed skating
Also a very surprising result by Korean Seung-Hoon Lee, who gets silver. Never heard of him before.
Yeah, great job by him. The pressure from everyone in The Netherlands, but in the sport as well, on him was enourmous, but he still made it true. Respect to that guy.
It was exciting though. He started rather fast, but his lap times at the end where high 29's and low 30's, while the should've been low 29's. Hence why that korean came so close in the end.
And now I'm talking about him, his performance was probably even more amazing, if you know that his first ever race of ice speed skating was last september! Before that he did shorttrack. |

Well the Korean can say thanks to the ice in Vancouver. The ice was just crap in the 6th and 7th pair after the ice renewal. Bøkko had no chance.
Great job by Kramer though, impressive. |

Yeah, it wasn't too good. They should've held two ice renewals. Hence why the times where not all too good. Kramer was expected to go under 6:10, while he did 6:14. |

Yeah I agree. The ice was terrible during Bokko's race. |

It's Women's Ice Hockey, which means the final will be Canada v. US. They might as well skip the early rounds. |

As the BBC decided to leave it, congrats to Jay of France for his Biathlon gold.

It was very clear by then that noone would beat him though. Just a shame the olympic pictures didnt pick up the Brit at all, managed to spot everyone who started/raced around him, just not him!

What a suprise in biathlon. Congrats to Vincent Jay and Jakov Fak
Now Pavel Churavy after decent result in ski jumping in nordic combine and then I think one of the biggest stars of this Olympics - Martina Sablikova in speedskating
