Good news? Flight DY3630 will take me to Paris tomorrow. They currently have ~10 C at the moment. It'll feel like summer

Could probably do it myself, you should see the height of snowdrifts (hope its the right word) here. Lucky I still have my minnd ok, otherwise I'd be climbing the roof.
Huge storm (TV says biggest of the last 30 years). So I can't leave the house.
Internet and TV keep cutting out. No movies on my pc worth watching. I just finished yesterday reading the last book I have here that I hadn't yet read. Graphics card crapped out so I can't play anything.
Staring at walls is not fun.
I also missed Het Volk and I'm now avoiding the news like the plague until I can download the race to watch later.

Weird thing of the year today. The last september, as in all spanish colleges, we had our remedial exams. I had an exam of Thermodynamics, which I failed. Okay, nothing special so far.
So, yesterday, I tried to download a pdf with the notes of that subject, and I couldn't. The system did not recognize me as registered on that subject. Then, I go to my university's website to find out what happened, and I see that I'm approve. The spanish scale goes from 0 (absolutely bad) to 10 (perfect), and I got a 4.6. It seems that someone made a mistake and changed the 4 for a 7 (they are near in the keyboard), so I have one of the best marks of my promotion now. LOL

Not very good for you.
Go out, buy a new book, magazine whatever. And hope the power comes back.

What part of "I can't get out because of the storm" don't you get?
At least the internet's back now

Brandy with coke is great. Got really drunk on it yesterday and in the morning went training, only problem was lack of sleep. My friends who drank high vol beer looked awful.
If there is any underages here then drinking is not good for you (haha to those with 21 driking age).

I've been on adrinking ban for two weeks due to my regatta this week. However 2 days till it's over and I get utterly destroyed.
but yes don't drink unless it's legal.
don't drink unless it's legal? how do you think i get chucked off the beach every other friday night or so come summer. it's a part of british culture. it's the biggest part of british culture.
However, to fit into my house, and the social circles I hang with, I'm "forced" to comply.
Preferably, I wouldn't. It's not that I don't enjoy it when I'm drunk, but it's disgusting the amount of weight I've put on this year, and what it does to your body.
Nor does it say much for peoples abilities to socialise if they can't cope without alcohol.
