Contador in 7th, not exactly good enough, but the favorites seems to be staying together no matter what... Hushovd in green is good and Contador close to the mountains jersey is also good. Next stage I will be riding in green and polka dots. Will look forward to that :-)

Oh well, couldnt keep Dekker behind for all of the race. But holding the yellow for this long and still being 2nd is a better TdF that i had expected.

At least I have broken into the Top 10 now. But I would've liked not to have lost those c. 3 minutes in the first place.

It's like I just can't win this race, no matter what I do :/ |

Hills were always going to be tough for Intxausti, its all set up now for a huge battle thouh. A 2 minute lead for Devolder (that he surely cant keep) and then 2-7 within 45 seconds of each other.
And Crue, that spoiler tag to hide the full stage results could have done with being a little further down there - a bit pointless to split up the 1'28 group.

Grand Tour transition stages set in the DB as "hilly". How could you possibly expect anything else?

I repeat what I said in #84. Luckily, no time was lost. |

Seems I can't get a good stage result, that being said I'm completely flying about Contador rising to 4th. Still hoping for a small miracle in which getting him on the podium. Hushovd is one big dissapointment. I even put the best sprint helpers but he just isn't strong enough, or my best helpers aren't.
4th GC, 2nd Green and 1st Polka dot is beautiful. Hopefully I can hold on to the GC and Polka, while Hushovd hopefully can take some back on Steegmans...

And thats why I have Sijmens, for breaks like that. He would have won if the chase was a little more relaxed, but as it is, its still a top 10 placing

No crashes before, and now two crashes to my two main GC helpers, Anton and Rodriguez. One is not amused!

Probably won't continue until tomorrow - but I'm looking just as much forward to the mountains as you are. I'm not all too optimistic about Dekker, though :/ |
