Then I would suggest: José Mendes (won a few ago the Volta a Portugal "Espoirs" and was third is Circuit de Lorraine this year) and Amaro Antunes (hot prospect and srill very young) |

Prompted by a comment Crue made in the TdF thread.
I'd suggest giving the Tour even more ranking points so that choosing to skip it with your strongest rider is a much, more difficult decision.

I like that idea, yeh, its a bit of a shame that the Austrian race arguably has more top climbers than the Tour

I think that will happen anyway. Most people thought that the tour would have a stupidly strong field, so didn't send their big riders. Next year people are more likely to send good riders after seeing how weak it was.

Lawson Craddock (Silver medal Junior World Championships TT)
Ted King
Cole House (u23 flanders winner)
Paul Mach (up and coming climber, winner of Mt. Hood Cycling Classic)
Justin Williams (Rock Racing, then Trek-Livestrong, strong sprinter)
Scott Zwizanski (Had a great year with UCI wins (Tour De Beuce) and good showings at USPRO Championships)
Reid Mumford (Also a very strong year. I think he won la vuelta of some Southern American country)
Jake Keough seems to be a strong sprinter as well
Bjorn Selander (rides for Trek LIvestrong)
Charlie Avis (2nd at Abitibi this year and current Junior National TT Champ. Now racing for Trek u23)

Arran Brown is probably the best young South African not in the DB.
He turned 24 this year and took 6 victories in classics, including the probably the two biggest domestic races of the year.
Mainly a sprinter/tter he took the SA U23 TT champs two years ago as well as 3rd in the RR.
Here is is team profile.
