Well if it's induced at least it means he's OK, it now for the best that he stays in it. Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery.
(Thank goodness for good quality health care)

British Cycling fans sans Sky, watch out!
Scott Sunderland revealed yesterday Sky are looking for rights to "certain" races.
You know what this means......we have to sit through half an hour every race of the commentators telling us what the King of the Mountains competition is, or why they all ride round in a funny little group!!!! |

Bellis is out of his coma and is breathing without aid. Good news for everyone
The recovery however will be a long one.

Very glad to hear that. I was really worried when I read that he was still in coma. |

2 things, Bruyneel is not released from his Astana contract yet. and they look to want to "hold on to him"
Astana's waste was collected at the Tour (of course), there are "suspicious syringes" in the waste, these are now being examined.

can you get DNA off syringes?
or would cyclists use IV drips?

Is Astana really going to be dumb enough to dispose of their doping syringes in containers from ASO? Doubt this will amount to much. |

Just had to say it. A new team in Norway is starting to build. PlussbankCervelo is what it's called at the moment. It's kind of like Cervelo's Norwegian youth team.

Interesting.
And Sweden will probably host a Tour of Sweden in 2010. The stages sounded quite weird (all starting and ending the same place, at a velodrome), but it's a start |

Reading I got the impression it was something for elite NE riders and not continental teams, might be wrong though. But the area it is riden (Dalarna) Is a very beautiful area, and is very hilly/mountainous. Would be nice to see this evolving into something bigger.

In their defense, it would be quite weird if they hosted a Tour of Burundi.

Sweden is not mountainous, why do you think we every year travel to France, Italy and mallorca? It is not because of the food. It because of the liquid, the sun and the mountains. Now I will quote Anders Adamsson Swedish commentator. "If it not were the tax and the whether I would not live here." |

Thats why I said hilly/mountanious, I just couldn't remember how much "mountains" there where in Dalarna form when I were there some years ago. Though there is enough "mountain" to have skiresorts

If this syring saga is all true and they are found to be high profile riders, this will be worse than 2007, and I am not sure if I could watch the TDF or cycling again. |
