Plaza is doing a stirling job keeping his 3rd placing. Each stage I think he's lost it, but no, he's still just there keeping ahead of Uran and Gomez Marchante. I just hope he can keep it over the hills. I'm less worried about the TT as he's got a good combo of TT and mountain.

Marchante making steady progress - but I think he's just going to miss out on the podium. Will probably loose some time on hilly stages too. |

Mayo lost contact, not good... Down to 18th... I really hoped he would be able to snatch top 15...

Thank you Cyanide for letting Schleck (61 sp, 82 rec) beat 80+ sprinters with still 75 rec...
I'm pretty confident now though, that Bennati will win the mountain TT |

I hope Andy Schleck does the Giro next season, he is possibly the only rider who could beat Cunego there

Did you forget he's been beaten in Italy before?
2 season back:
Overall Classification:
1 Damiano Cunego LA GAZETTA DELLO SPORT 89h43'30
2 Riccardo Ricco' MAGENTA TREFOIL + 9'23
3 Andy Schleck DOMINA VACANZE + 11'23

-∑arc- zegt:

Lars zegt:
cunego as well
-∑arc- zegt:
schleck is probably 'more better' than cunego is 'better' tho
Lars zegt:
I have no idea
-∑arc- zegt:
i like how we are doing this conversation on the forum and on MSN

I cant prove it since I dont think I have the database from 2 seasons ago anymore, but Im pretty sure Andy has had a greater level of improvement than Cunego.
Besides, its a different PCM now. All has changed.

Either way. 85 mo vs. 83, 84 res vs. 82 plus the nationality bonus should still do it. Oh, and Cunego has 69 sprint, so he'd win the flat stages |

This is exactly what issoisso complained about with the PCM.daily DB a few days before the release. Had to up the sprinters' REC by a lot. |

3rd by Brea is very good. His best result aswell...
Let's hope for some kind of miracle to get Mayo back into top 15

Wow, how did my guys manage not to Top 10 there
Actually I shouldn't be this negative, at least my riders formed a train, that's very big progress

Rasmussen scored some points! That's like a first since the extremely flat Qatar!

Wow, so Plaza, with 64 sprint, can do as well as my sprinter Rasmussen, with a 5th place finish on a flat stage. I have to wonder why anyone bothers with sprinters...
