Hey guys,
Sorry for my English, but i have a problem with DB 2.1. I'm in 2010 and my game crashes everytime i want to play a trial. It crashed in California, Tour of South-Africa, Tour of Wellington. With crashing I mean the game shutting down while loading.
What can I do?
Great DB btw. |

I've tried pretty much everything, and I can't find the problem. So I've given up and started converting parts of it to PCM09. |

Try to understand all that db business... so here a technical question to the PCM db.
Noticed that you linked in the dyn_team.xml the equipment companies from the sta_equipment marques.xml to a couple teams.
But some teams have a "-123" or "-45" (with the minus sign) in this column - what is the effect of doing that? You don't link to a special equipment then, correct? But where do you link to with "-123" or "-45"?
Thanks for the answer. |

It is linked to teams, but doing it with the minus numbers means the equipment doesn't show up in the Equipment Selection screens in game.

Pardon... I did not understand that...
I mean the following:
In the dyn_team.xml
id-team no.1 is "Caisse d'Epargne".
fkID-equipment_marques_roue for that team is "-98".
Does that mean its linked to team id-98? But there's NO team-id 98.
there's also NO equipment id-98 in sta_equipment.xml
and NO equipment_marques id-98 in sta_equipment_marques.xml...
... |

You need to delete the filed you edited then. |

Is there another way to fix this without deleting my savegame?
Maybe i did something wrong with fixing 07/06/09 bug? |

You did of course keep a backup of your save game
As said, delete it. In My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo/OfficialRelease, you can find your save games. One of them has a ~ after it. Remove the ~, and you will have your save game again. |

Sorry - I missed this post.
All you say is correct.
If you don't want it to show up, that's the way to do it.
(It's difficult to explain fully - but try this with the default Cyanide .db and you should understand how it works. Enter 128 in sta_equipment_marques as a frame and call it test. Assign 128 to a couple of teams in dyn_team. Then export. Open it up again, and you'll see how things work.)
Make sure you do it with an '08 save game.
EDIT - Oh, and -98 refers to the equipment marque.

There are three files - .cdb, .cdb~, .cdi. Edited file is .cdb I deleted it and removed a ~ from .cdb~ file. But now i get to the start I cant skip days from 7 june to 8 june. |

I use the 3.2V and in 2010 I didn't have a crash yet, besides the WC problem.
And by the way, I don't know how but I hadn't had the crash in 7.06 in 2010
Btw, the second crash appeared on 07.07.2010 in my case.
Hannes converter tackled it without any trouble |
