Today is the 368th anniversary of some people throwing a spanish guy down a balcony of a government building....
So, in the finest portuguese tradition of "any excuse is good enough", today is a national holiday. Think of that when you're at work/school today, everyone
Oh and NEXT monday is also a holiday....a religious one....even though Portugal has no official religion,....as I said, any excuse is good enough over here
Oh and the two weeks after that, I barely work due to christmas and the new year....which are also holidays |

Long live the ppl who decide when holidays are!!!
I'll be skipping two anatomy classes in a row
I'd say that this is Christmas before Christmas
Now compare our December Calendar to the Spanish one... they only get to open their Christmas presents in first week of January Be jealous of us "hermanos" be jealous!!

Today I bought PCM08 for the second time. The download version did never work well, always problems with the patches and online gaming, but now I'll own you all The game costed me 249 NOK(roughly 28 EUR), the download version costed me 349 NOK or 39 EUR. If it not work well now I kill myself. |

I don't really see why it'd help buying the cd version. It's the same as the DL-version anyway.. |

I always get a sense of security with the CD, its actually having something to hand. I don't trust the DL version (I know its fine) but say something went wrong with e-mails. Or i lost all the folder contents with the game still installed. Its all that jazz. CD makes it much easier for me anyway. |

Say you lose the CD....whoops, you're done. No more PCM for you. Download version: lost the files? just download it again and presto |

yes, logically the download is more secure, but CD's allow you to have something physical, which is a psychological boost.
Also the CD version is much cheaper

As far as i remember the DL-version was cheaper here in Denmark than the CD-version.

i prefer physical interaction, a CD, someone to complain to if it all goes wrong, not just a server somewhere in China.
thats my opinion,it's not bullshit

Oh mb2612, if it was some server in China, you would end spending the better part of the month downloading the game. Frankly i prefer the DL version, i dont like having to handle a lot of CD's really. I dont know about the price or the download speeds you'd get from Focus Interactive though because ive got my installation from a much more direct source (Cyanide themselves). And complaining is a bitch both of if you have the CD and the DL version.
Besides, you cant really lose the DL version if you just burn the installation files to a media. Ruben got a point (for once).
Thats my flawed qualified expert opinion.

Even if you do burn them somewhere and lose them, just download them again.
If you buy the CD version and lose it....OOPS.
CD Version offers nothing in terms of security. Lose it and you no longer have the game.
If you get the download version, you can burn it to as many CDs/pen drives/whatever you want, and you can download it at will... |

SAN ANTONIO - A man who rammed his truck into a woman's vehicle on a highway early Friday told authorities he crashed into her while going more than 100 mph because God told him "she needed to be taken off the road."
The truck rear-ended the car on U.S. Highway 281, both vehicles spun across a median then came to a stop along a barrier in the opposite lanes. Both drivers suffered only minor injuries.
"He just said God said she wasn't driving right, and she needed to be taken off the road," Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kyle Coleman said in the online edition of the San Antonio Express-News. "God must have been with them, 'cause any other time, the severity of this crash, it would have been a fatal."
Weird... |
