Ahead of Bennati and Farrar I think.
Great sprint from the first row. |

Unlucky Stannard, so close.
So Boonen won a race he hates?

Good to see Boonen winning a classic again. It has been a while. |

So close yet so far for Stannard. Great sprint by Boonen. Nasty crash by Offredo and Duque

Nope, Offredo hit a cameraman with his back wheel and this sent him spinning out of control, meaning Duque hit him on his way through.

Nice for Tom. Hope he makes de Ronde and P-R interesting, I don't want another Spartacus show.
And someone should explain Bennati that to win you have to be 1st, not 2nd. I guess that if he got to arrive alone to the finish, he'd find a way to be second too. |

All i've got to watch is the track world champs. Not sure if it is live but the Maddison was awesome, Aussies did the work early and it payed off. |

Alright race I guess, would've been different if Stannard hadn't attacked in the final kilometre - the QStep guys wouldn't have started the sprint that early and the pack probably wouldn't have caught the escapees (Stannard, Sagan & Chavanel).. But oh well, good to see Boonen win again - hopefully he'll be able to pull something off in RvV/PR too. As much as I like Cancellara, it's not fun to watch him set off and solo for the next 20 kms.. |

Thank god Stannard didn't win, after sucking the breakway's wheels for so long...

That guy must feel proud of winning a race without taking part of it. |

I download G-W earlier to watch - and then clicked on cyclingnews by mistake and saw Boonen's grinning face......
I hate watching races when I know the result..... |

Heh, I made a similar mistake last week in MSR.
I opened up some dutch cycling board while I was watching the race and saw something about "Rabobank fail" so I already knew Freire or any other Rabobank wouldn't win |

So you wanted to avoid a cycling results, yet clicked your way to cyclingnews.com? Yes, that makes sense |
