PCM Cyclist League Season One Mass Migration

https://www.youtub...e=youtu.be

This stage would have one of the largest breaks of the tour, a seven man group. It contained points jersey pretender Geslin as well as other World Tour riders.

It would turn out that Argos-Shimano took up the work on the front. It had not been a good tour for them but they were still trying and this pan flat short criterium was what Kittel must dream about.

Jump to 15 kilometres to go and the peloton i in an organized yet chaotic chase as the Sun beams on the circuit. The trains are not yet made up and whoever is at the front of the peloton is tasked with dragging to the finish line and the breakaway.

The first part of the breakaway is caught by a long pull from Argos' Scalvini. Now it is up to Garmin to form their train and try to win.

The peloton is dead focused with Bakker of Garmin leading. The break is caught with 2km to go and the sprints will now begin.

Farrar sprints but Hanzen decides to go long! Has he panicked after seeing the Argos train of Degenkolb and Kittel start sprinting?

What a show of force, he has a large gap over everyone with 1.2 km to go. Pettachi follows and everyone else after.

It's a blunder by Hanzen! He's slowed down drastically and is now being overtaken by Boonen, Pye and everyone else! Only 0.4km to go as well, if only he'd been more patient. Was he too nervous?

Boonen wins followed by Kittel and Pye. The old classic rider still has some speed!

Now that it is over I need a lot of startlists for P-N and then Tirreno.

I'll be doing a review with things like that (you can do similar reviews as well. I'll be doing it for my own rider to get improved. Standard reports of course don't count for it obviously Pfft)

Great race and really nice video and also report. You deserve Banana
You are really getting better with every race. Wink

Jesleyh

Thanks for the banana Pfft

What was it that I did? Now that I read it back it sounds like a script for a radio, possibly a good thing Pfft

Standings are now updated (I think)

I meant that you did write a (small) report for Pinktay and Jakstar, since they can't watch the video...

Added the full rankings, for those interested.

1. Maxime Oget 62
2. Adrian Hanzen 40
3. Henkjan Knol 27
4. Anthony Geslin 25
5. Rudy Verboven 22
6. Tom Boonen 7
7. Mike Pye 4
8. Louis Remington 2
8. Filip Dasko 2
8. Oscar Freire 2
8. Marcel Kittel 2
8. André Greipel 2
8. Stuart O'Grady 2

Go custom riders!

Also, the team rankings seem to be wrong? Quickstep should have way more points (assuming it's just combining the riders individual points?). I'm getting these results:

1 Radioshack 62
2 Garmin 44
3 Quickstep 29
3 Rabobank 29
5 FDJ 25
6 Sky, Katusha, Argos, Lotto and Greenedge 2

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

O'Grady = 8th and GreenEDGE = 6th Frown

I suppose i should be relatively happy with that Wink
