If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell. -Lance Armstrong

i have one and its cycling related
(bonus points?)
when i was very young i was watching cycling on tv probably the T de F but i'm not sure. anyway it was at the height of sean kelly's sucesses so being irish it was a very popular thing at the time to watch the cycling.
anyway one day i was watching with my mother as it approached the end of a stage. Sean kelly was out in front with one other rider- very exciting..
then the phone rang so my mother had to leave...
while she was on the phone the two cyclsists battled it out in a great sprint captured very close-up by the "moto"
on returning my mother asks who won?
i thought about it foir a second and then decide to say what i thought..

"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong

"We have just learned that we have been nominated for an Emmy for covering an assassination. We are very proud and we hope it'll be the first of man...I mean we are very proud."
